I hate you!

ELLAS POV:

The next morning I wake up to a text from Liam saying ‘I am sorry I wasn’t there yesterday and I am sorry about what happened to you! Boss has me busy with the rat thing. Hope you slept great my princess!’ Well at least he texted me and he called me princess that most count for something right? I hear Emma call for me downstairs so I hurry and get ready for our shoppingspree!

Emma - ‘You have to get that dress omg I would look soo good on you. I can totally see Liam get jelly when all the boys will stare at you!’

I let out a quick laugh and grab the dress to try on. We each try on three dresses and I do end up going with the one Emma picked out. She was right I did look great on me even though it isn’t what I normally wear. Having found out dresses for tonight we go to grab some food. As we stand in line Jonas comes walking up. We haven’t really been seeing each other that much as he has been busy with football and me well with hanging out with the gang. I kinda skipped some classes so at school we didn’t really see each other that much either. I definitely don’t want to tell him about how distant Liam has been with me, so I just give him a quick smile and wave then turn my attention to ordering.

Ella - ‘Emma you know Liam better than me, is he usually this distant when he has something big going on?’

Emma - ‘I am not the right one to ask as Drake is much closer to Liam, but I will say this - Liam tends to distance himself from the people who he cares about. He did it to me and even Drake when they first met so I don’t think you should think to much about it to be honest’

I nod in agreement. Maybe my head was playing too many games with me.

Emma and I get home to her house and start getting ready. I let her do my makeup and hair as she is really good at it. She told me that she always wanted to do that kinda thing, but when her brother got addicted to drugs he ended up in the gang as he owed them money and ultimately to protect him she joined as well. She never looked back as she said she found a family in Liam, Drake, Tony and Toby - and now me. It made me happy to hear! We finish up and I look in the mirror. Omg Emma did an amazing job. We head to the hideout as that is where we all would meet up and go together. As we arrive I don’t see Liam anywhere. And Drake seems to notice me looking around and whispers to me ‘Don’t worry he just had one thing to finish up. He is meeting us there!’ I nod and smile at Drake. We all leave for the party. I drive with Drake, while Tony is on his bike and Emma and Toby go together. I just can’t wait to see Liam tonight! Drake told me that he was so close to catching the rat, and I just hope that will make him less distant with me!

We arrive at the party and head to the kitchen for some drinks. As we walk in there we spot a couple kissing in the corner. I look at them closer, and then I start to shake. It is Lexi and Liam. I don’t even know what to do. They notice us come in and I see Lexi smirking! Liam looks at me but before he can do or say anything I run outside! Is that why he was acting so distant with me. Did he just lead me on and decide to hook up with Lexi behind my back or did they do it all the while Liam and I were seeing each other? Tears roll down my check as I hear someone call my name. Not just someone but Liam. He comes running after me, and Drake follows him.

Liam - ‘Ella let me explain! It is not what you think!’

Ella - ‘You don’t have to explain anything! I know what I saw! Liam I can’t believe you!’ I go passed Liam and grab ahold of Drake and say ‘Please can you drive me home!’ Drake nods and we go towards his car. Liam tries to get me stay but soon realises that isn’t going to happen. Drake doesn’t say anything the ride to my house. he just lets my cry which I appreciate. It’s all I really want to do right now. As we arrive at my house, I see it being empty. Dad must still be at work. Drake walks me to the door and I thank him for the ride.

Drake - ‘I can stay you know. I don’t really want you to be on you own!’

Ella - ‘It’s fine Drake. Tonight I think all I need is just to be on my own. Process what happened and what I am going to do moving forward. Go back to the party and have a good time - for me?’

Drake nods and hugs me goodbye. As I lock the door behind me I fall on the ground. My heart is hurting. Did he ever love me or at least like me? Should I let him speak. Tell his side of the story or should I just take my leave? I pick myself up and go to my room and crash on my bed. This is going to be my safe haven for the weekend I feel!

LIAMS POV:

I arrive at the party with Lexi and we go to the kitchen for drinks.

Lexi - ‘you know Liam you and I make a frat couple. We were even fantastic in bed’

Liam - ‘Lexi how many times do I have to tell you there were no us and there will never be!’

Lexi - ‘It is because of that Ella girl isn’t it? I heard you speaking to my father!’

Liam - ‘I am in love with her Lexi. She is the first girl I see a future with’

Lexi - ‘We could have a future together Liam. Us running the gang!’

Liam - ‘Lexi there will never be an us! Get that threw your head!’

Lexi - ‘Don’t forget I know your secret so if you want me to keep my mouth shut you will do as I say!’

Liam - ‘And what do you want?’

Lexi - ‘One last kiss that’s all’

I roll my eyes and ask ‘If I do that will you then leave me alone and not tell Ella the secret?’

Lexi - ‘Yeah, but that kiss has to be right now!’ She smirks at me.

I roll my eyes again. Good think Drake said they were running a little late. I do not want Ella knowing about this! I don’t see any other way out of my situation with Lexi so I kiss her. She holds my collar to lengthen the kiss. Suddenly i hear gasps in the background and I finally gets free from Lexus hold. I turn to see the gang standing there including Ella. F***! Ella runs out and i follow her. I call her name and say ‘Please let me explain! It isn’t what you think’. I can see tears streaming down her face and all I want to do is go to her, grab her and hug her but I know now is not the time. She won’t let me explain and before I know it she walks past me straight to Drake. I guess she asked him for a ride as he give me an apologetic smile and leads her away. I call her name again and again but she doesn’t even look back.

I drive home. All night I try to call and text her but in the end she blocks my number. Damn I really f***ed up!

Drake - ‘I made sure she got home safe. She wouldn’t let me stay as she put it - she needed to figure out what she wanted to do’

Liam - ‘Do you think it is over for good?’

Drake - ‘She loves you man and well that broke her heart.’

Liam - ‘I know. I only did it to keep why we met a secret. It was Lexis only demand..’

Drake - ‘Give Ella a little space, then contact her and try to tell your side of the story. I am sure you to will find your way back to one another!’ Drake leaves to his room but I can’t just stay away from Ella. I have to go see her. Make her listen to me! So I drive to her house. I see it’s all dark so I guess she went to bed. I climb in trough her bathroom window which she left open. As I enter her bedroom i see her laying on her bed sleeping with dried tears in her cheek. I hate that I did that to her!

She wakes up and notice me standing there.

Ella - ‘Get out!’

Liam - ‘Please just listen. Give me one minute to explain and if you still want me to leave after that then I will leave’

She looks at me signalling me to continue so I do ‘There is nothing going on between Lexi and I okay! What you saw, that kiss, well it was the only way I could get out of being her bodyguard!’ I look at her, well I couldn’t tell her the whole truth but I am not lying. Lexi also told me that I didn’t have to be her bodyguard if I gave her one last kiss.

Ella - ‘Why should I believe you. How is a kiss going to get you out of that?’

Liam - ‘Yes I used to sleep with Lexi but it was nothing more. She always wanted that though. So she told her dad, my boss, that I was the only one in the gang that she was okay with having as a bodyguard. But she told me tonight that if I kissed her one last time, then I would be free! I did it so I could spend time with you!’

Ella - ‘So this is my fault?’

Liam - ‘No not at all! Please just forgive me! It won’t ever happen again. All I want is for you to be mine and for me to be yours!’

She looks at me then says ‘I need some time to think.’

I look at her and nod. F*** how am I going to live without her, but I get why she needs time. I need to gain her trust again..

Liam - ‘I understand! I will do everything that you ask of me, as long as it didn’t mean we are over!’

Ella - ‘I need at least just a week to my self. Get my head and heart sorted out. I need to see if I can find it in me to trust you again!’

Liam - ‘I understand! I will leave you be but please don’t take this out on the gang and please don’t say that I can’t see you in that time!?’

Ella - ‘I will still come to training. I need it but I will be training with Emma and Drake. So you will see me there but not elsewhere.’

I nod and go to take my leave. As I climb trough her window I look back one last time. I just hope that she finds it in her to trust me. I sure will do everything in my power to make sure she does!
