The Gang Leader Is Interested In Me

Let the games begin

My Alarm blares loudly and I awaken slamming my hand down on the snooze button. I look at the time and Sigh. I don't like having to wake up early to get the private rooms ready for Gang meetings. But, It makes me money so I suppose I'll have to get over it. I know its for two of the smaller gangs which I must admit made me kinda sad since I still have yet to meet this infamous Corey. I roll my eyes and slowly roll out of bed.

I go to my dresser and grab out some clothes and head into the bathroom to take a shower.

My clumsy ass of course dropped the bottle of shampoo on my pinky toe.

I get done with that very painful shower and grab some breakfast. I just grabbed an apple because it was quickest. I run out of the house and to my car that I've missed oh so much. The drive down to the club was dreadfully boring per usual. My usual people are here already, Sappy, Billy, and Darla. Billy is my bouncer and is quite fit.

I walk down the hall that seems to get longer each and every time I go down in and head into room 15, The largest room we have in the back. I grab a bucket with some sanitizer and water and start scrubbing down tables and chairs. I stock up on napkins at each table and then go and set up the snack table.

On the snack table is Cheese, crackers, meat, and different variations of fruits. I look at my watch and sigh. They should be here any minute for their bogus ass meeting. I run down the hall after double checking everything and look at Sapphire.

“Sooooooo” She starts to say.

“What happened now?” I say slightly annoyed.

“Uh so they apparently added Corey and his right hand to this meeting…” She says trailing off.

“They what!?” I yell.

She shows me a fake smile and nods.

At least I won't be dealing with them. Darla and Billy handle the serving and making sure the peace stays.

I roll my eyes and go behind the bar checking receipts from the night before making sure everything is in order when I hear a knock on the front door. Billy goes and answers it. I slightly look up while still continuing to work. I'm just more than curious to see how this Corey character looks.

In walks a very handsome guy, Like drool worthy. But I do not drool over men so he won't get that satisfaction. I have never seen him before so I can only assume that it's Corey. They slowly get led to the hallway and I feel eyes burning into my skull. I look up and accidentally make eye contact with this gorgeous man. I just roll my eyes at him and go back to work. I hear him scoff which makes me giggle quietly to myself. Self absorbed per usual. Thinks every woman wants him. Nice, another leader I can hate with a passion.

As time goes on the other gangs arrive and you can hear yelling from down the hall. Me and Sapphire just continue to work ignoring the yelling that usually happens during these meetings.

The meeting gets done and I am done with my work. I am sitting on top of the bar having a drink because these men are more than stressful. I instantly feel the same eyes burning into the back of my skull then hear a very deep but attractive voice from behind me.

“So are you going to make me come back later or can I stay” I hear him say.

I scoff loudly and turn to look behind me.

“You're Corey right?” I see him cringe and nod yes

I jump off the counter and look him dead in the eyes only a few inches away from him.

“Ah yes, the self entitled asshole who thinks that because he is so big and bad can break the rules to MY club. Yeah, no you can come back later when we are open sir” I say snippy.

His right hand stifles and laughs and he gets the worlds most pissed off look on his face and storms out of the club. I smirk, feeling proud of myself, just as one of the lower gang leader steps up, If I remember his name it's Keith.

“Do you have a death wish Miss. Alana?” He asks seeming sincere

“Kevin, You know how I feel about self entitled assholes” I only shrug

He only shakes his head and chuckles leaving the club too. “Have fun with him tonight, You've made this a game for him” He yells as he walks out.

A game? Two can play that.
