It’s end of the 4th quarter, it’s actually New Year’s Eve and she’s so happy because no transformation has happened.
“Mommy, I’m so happy that you’re here now. We’re complete,” said Drew.
“Yes, from this day forward, I will always here by your side. Nothing can separate us from one another,” added Jette.
“Jette, look at Albert… He wants to eat chocolate cake already,” said Mr. Arden.
“Oh yeah, Dad, let’s just wait for Naz, she borrowed Crystal for a while,” said Jette.
“Jette, please arrange the table now, it’s past 12:00 AM already,” said Mrs. Arden.
“Yes, Mom. I invited John and his boyfriend over,” said Jette.
“Boyfriend???” asked Mr. Arden.
“Dad, it’s alright. We’re already in the modernized year,” clarified Jette.
After a bit, John, Naz, and John’s boyfriend simultaneously came by.
The night was full of happy memories. It was a night to remember. They took a family picture and it was so memorable. They are all wearing gold-colored shirt as a sign of prosperity for the coming year.
“Dad, Aunt, Sis, Bro, Couz Naz, this is Ben, my boyfriend,” introduced John.
“Hello everyone. I’m Ben,” said Ben.
“How long have you been together?” asked Mr. Arden.
“Uh, never mind about that. Come on, let’s eat, happy new year everyone!” interrupted Mrs. Arden.
They shared stories, gifts, and ate the foods prepared on the table.
“Guys, I invited someone to come over and celebrate with us,” said Jette.
“Who?” asked everyone.
“A friend, a true friend,” said Jette.
Then the door knocked. (Ding-dong)
“Dad, I’m still preparing the cake, can you please open the door for me?” asked Jette.
“Sure, darling,” said her Dad.
Her Dad went to the door, and opened it, “What are you doing here???” asked Mr. Arden.
“Your daughter invited me,” explained the lady.
“No, you have to go, she must not know,” said Mr. Arden.
“Miss! Is that you?” asked Jette.
“Jette, your visitor is about to go now,” said Mr. Arden.
“Why?” asked Jette.
“My grandson messaged me, and he’s now at home, he brought some food for me,” explained Crisanta.
“Really? I thought you do not have any family, Miss?” asked Jette.
“I mean my godson,” clarified Crisanta.
“Ah I see. Are you sure, you’re going to leave?” asked Jette.
(Mr. Arden looked meaningfully at Crisanta)
“Yes, darling. I have to leave,” said Crisanta.

The next day, Jette was so happy because she just couldn’t believe that there’s no longer any transformation. She woke up early. With only 3 hours of sleep, Jette seems to be so energetic and hype. She prepared home-cooked meals for her family.
“Wow, Mommy, what’s that?” asked Drew.
“I prepared something for you and the kids, and also to Mom & Dad, John and Ben when they wake up,” explained Jette.
“I love you,” said Drew.
“I love you, too,” answered Jette.

Jette now runs a business of BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) and that business is booming really. The day starts busy already.
“Ma’am, someone is looking for you via phone,” said her secretary.
“Okay, please transfer the line here in the office,” said Jette.
“Hello, Jette speaking, who’s on the line?” said Jette.
“Jette, this is John, can we talk?” said John.
“Oh sure, Bro, please come over and we’re going to have some time to chit-chat,” said Jette.

At the pantry:
John: Jette, remember Mom?
Jette: You mean, Candy?
John: Yes.
Jette: How about her?
John: I had a dream of her yesterday night. She’s crying. I remember, when she died, I never got the chance to see her. I left all of them and went to grandpa and grandma’s house.
Jette: I know that place. I’ve been there once.
John: Really? But you never had any knowledge about me, right?
Jette: Yes, because they kept it a secret from me.
John: Now, going back to Mom. I don’t actually believe everything that they said against Mom. They let Mom be confined in the mental facility for no reason.
Jette: Why no reason? She got some bipolar issues, right?
John: Yes, it’s because of the curse.
Jette: Curse?
John: Nothing. Never mind. Jette, do you want to come with me?
Jette: (Why does he know about the curse? I got to know about it.) Where, Bro?
John: At the mental facility. I want to investigate.
Jette: Sure. Just set a date.
John: Alright.

At the mental facility:
John: Good day, Doctor. I am John Arden, and this is my sister, Bridgette Arden.
Doctor: Hello. I’m Doctor Stan, how may I help you?
John: We’re the children of Candy Arden.
Doctor: Ah, I see. What do you want to know?
John: I want to know how our Mom died?
Doctor: Died?
Jette: Yes, she died while she’s pregnant with me.
Doctor: No. She’s alive.
John and Jette: Huh??? Are you sure, Doctor?
Doctor: Yes. I’m 100% sure because I own this mental facility, I’m already 78-year-old and I’m hands on in every patient being admitted in our institution.
John: I don’t understand. They said my Mom died.
Doctor: No. Your Mom recovered from bipolar disorder. It’s not a worse-case scenario kind of mental illness anyway.
John: But they said, my Mom was confined because she’s insane.
Doctor: She’s not insane based on the medical records.
John: But, I can already recall all the hurtful things she did to our Dad. She was infidel with my Dad.
Doctor: That I can’t answer but based on the records, she’s not insane. She only suffers from minor bipolar disorder.
Jette: When was she discharged?
Doctor: She just stayed here before she could deliver her 2nd child. Mr. Arden took her, and I knew that they tried to become one family until the girl was born. I was there when the kid underwent DNA testing to be sure that it’s Mr. Arden’s child. She’s your sister, full-blood.
Jette: That’s me, Doc.
Doctor: If there’s anything that you want to know about it, just ask Mr. Arden. I supposed he’s still alive. He’s a vegetarian and an active runner.
Jette: Yes, our Dad is healthy and happy. Thanks Doc. We’re going to ask him as soon as possible.

At the car:
John: You think Dad should know?
Jette: Of course. We better ask him to know the truth.
John: But, he may not say the truth.
John: And it’s saddening for Aunt as well.
Jette: Yes, I don’t want my Mom to get hurt.
John: I have an idea.
Jette: What?
John: You know, Jette? There’s a mystery here. We cannot just rely on the human being’s help here. Do you know a fortune-teller or what?
Jette: Yes. It’s Crisanta, my friend.
John: Okay, let’s go there.

At Crisanta’s house:
(Knocks at the Door)
Crisanta looked at the window first before opening the door. She saw John and Jette, and mysteriously, she did not open the door, and she went back to her room and locked it.
John: Are you sure, sis this is her house?
Jette: Yes, I know all the areas of this house.
John: It seems that there’s no one inside.
Jette: I will call her, wait…
“Hello, Miss. I’m here at your house. Where are you?” asked Jette.
“Oh , wrong-timing, I’m here at my godson’s house and I’m going to stay here for quite some time,” explained Crisanta.
“How sad. I’m with my brother here, I’m about to introduce you to John,” said Jette.
“John? Is he healthy? Is he still handsome?” asked Crisanta.
“Still?” asked Jette.
“I mean, I’m a fortune-teller remember? I know everything,” explained Crisanta.
“I’ll just call you once I’m already home,” added Crisanta.

John continuously thinks about his Mom. One day, he drove his car. He doesn’t have anyone with this time.
