The Search for Harry Pernt

All has prepared. They all think that Harry is working as a staff at St. Anthony Parish.

“Are you now ready, Marina?” asked Mr. Arden.

“Yes, I am ready to meet him. I wish he could remember the younger years we had before, as playmates,” said Mrs. Arden.

On their way to the Southern part of the country, “Jette, can you check the map, I guess we are losing our way,” said John.

“Yes, Bro. We’re really lost, and the signal is too bad,” answered Jette.

“Let me go out the car and ask some residents here,” suggested Drew.

Drew went out of the car and approached a group of people, “Excuse me, Sirs. Can I ask you a question?” he said.

“Sure, what’s that?” asked the guy in white shirt.

“Do you know Mr. Harry Pernt? He’s working at St. Anthony Parish,” asked Drew.

“Oh yes, you mean, Father Harry?” asked the man.

“Father?” Drew asked back.

“Yes, the Parish Priest of St. Anthony Parish, Father Harry Pernt,” said the man.

Drew told what he knew to the group and they all drove towards the church. Then they entered the church, the first thing they did is to pray. Silence occurred for an hour, they all prayed silently.

And then, a man in white polo and black pants approached them.

“Good afternoon, Sir. We are some visitors from the Central part of the country. We travelled a long drive that’s why we’re so tired right now,” said Mr. Arden.

“What can I do for you, Sir?” asked the man.

“We are looking for Father Harry,” said Mrs. Arden.

“Ah I see, let me accompany you to him. He’s bed-ridden due to diabetes,” said the man.

They became sad with what they knew. Nonetheless, they still continue walking towards the room where Father Harry stays.

“Hello Father, can we come?” asked the man.

“Sure, Benny. Please come in. Are you with someone?” asked Father Harry.

“Yes, Father. I’m with them,” said Benny introducing to him the family of Mr. Arden.

“Hi, I am Father Harry. I’m sorry I can’t stand up and shake your hands one by one,” apologized Father Harry.

“It’s alright, don’t bother to stand,” said Mrs. Arden.

“You look familiar,” said Father Harry.

“Really, you still remember me?” asked Mrs. Arden.

“Yes, I just can’t recall and I’m not sure,” said Father Harry.

And Mrs. Arden said, “One Two Three, Three Two One, We’re Two But We’re One… ‘Cause Best Friends…”

“… are One,” continued Father Harry.

“Marina??? I am so happy you’re here,” said Father Harry.

“Time has flown so fast, I never recalled why we got separated. How are you?” asked Marina.

“I’m fine. When my Dad died, I was adopted by a group of priests, they thought me all the lessons I learned. Eventually, I too became one,” said Father Harry.

“So, what brings you here? How did you find me?” asked Father Harry.

“Actually Harry, I’m here because I have a big problem,” said Marina.

“Can we talk privately for a while?” asked Father Harry.

Mr. Arden and the rest of the family leaves first the room.

“It’s about your Mom,” said Marina.

“My Mom? But she is already dead long time ago,” said Harry.

“Huh?” asked Marina.

“Yes, remember when my Dad died? He died looking for me. I was abducted by a person named Hilary. Then, my Mom returned to her old life, and that’s by being a fairy. I know everything about my Mom because she told it to me during her last days,” said Harry.

“She’s immortal,” said Marina.

“No, she isn’t. She surrendered all her powers to the nature when she decided to make peace with you and your family,” explained Harry.

“But she was there years ago. We fought and I imprisoned her inside a bottle. But, when we visited the bottle years after, it’s already broken,” Marina added.

“But she is already dead, I am sure of that,” said Harry.

“I am so confused and I just want to cry, my friend,” said Marina.

John entered the room.

“I am sorry to interrupt, Father Harry and Aunt, I know something that could probably enlighten you,” said John.

“Sure, son,” said Father Harry.

“Gaymo, being a fairy cannot die like normal people do. She is very much alive. She just tricked you to believe that she has died. Probably it is because she loves you so much and she does not want you to overthink and worry a lot. But the truth is her heart now has returned back to the hateful one,” said John.

“I cannot agree with you on that,” said Harry.

John did not waste any minute. He put his palm on the wound of Father Harry, prayed silently, and to their shock, the wound of Father Harry has been healed. “Father Harry, please stand up,” said John.

Father Harry stood up and said, “Oh God, thank You. You are truly a healer.”

“Yes, it is true. God gave me this ability to heal. I didn’t know I have this ability, when I was full of hate and bad ideas dominated my mind, I proceeded at the church in our town. I asked and even questioned God. He gave me this ability through my vision,” explained John.

“From that moment on, I decided to forget about my wrongdoings and focused on the goodness of my heart,” added John.

“Father, the only way on how to stop the wrongdoings of Gaymo is for you to kill her,” said John.

“Kill? You know that it is against our belief as priests to kill. Most especially that it is my own mother,” said Harry.

“Your mom, Gaymo, has turned into a wicked witch already,” said John.

“If you do not believe me, you may come with us, and witness by yourself what she does to our family,” said John.

“She thought we were the ones behind your a*******n,” added Marina.

“Alright, I will see what I can do. I’m coming with you,” said Harry.

They made a concrete plan. Upon consultation with the top clairvoyants, they slowly but carefully proceeded to the fairyland. It is really different from the previous fairyland which Candy and Jette invaded before. It is a bit darker, and they saw for their eyes that Gaymo has transformed into a giant snake.

“My mom… What happened to you?” asked Harry in whispering voice.

After observing every part of the kingdom, and upon observation of the movement of Gaymo, the giant snake, they had an initial plan on how to defeat the enemy. They immediately left the place when Gaymo noticed something…

“We have visitors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” she shouted.

They all ran quickly towards the 5th room, and they returned back to the Earth.

“I cannot believe my mom has turned into something so wicked…. Snake, the symbol of evil,” said Harry and he made the sign of the cross.

“We need to prepare a lot. Next time that we invade Gaymo’s place, we must have a lot of things to use to defeat her. Harry is here with us. Another one is we must have enough tears of an elephant, as well as saliva of a crocodile, match or lighter, and holy water. Let’s also add the crucifix to be sure,” said John.

“Do we have a time table when we are going to push through with this?” asked Harry.

“Yes, we still have a lot of time. It must be done on the last quarter of the year, when everybody is celebrating the birth of Christ,” said John.

“Okay. For the meantime, I will first fulfill my obligation as priest. Just tell me when we’re good to go,” said Harry.

“Yes, Father, thank you,” said Marina.

“No, it’s me who must say thank you,” said Harry.

The family of Mr. Arden came home secured, and they start thinking about the things to do. John was assigned to get the tears of an elephant. Drew was assigned to get the saliva of a crocodile. Jette was assigned to work closely with Father Harry in the preparation of all Catholic rituals and faithful symbols. Candy will also come together with the Academy’s top 3 clairvoyants.

“Dad… Mom… I have something to tell you,” said Albert.

“What is it, son?” asked Drew.

“I hope you’ll not get mad,” asked Albert.

“What is it? You’re making me nervous,” said Jette.

“Let us have a dinner date later at Crystal’s Hotel,” said Albert.

“What is the occasion?” asked Drew.

“We’ll just cross the bridge when we get there,” said Albert.

At 7:00 PM on the same day:

“Daddy, I am a bit nervous. What will our son tell us?” asked Jette.

“You have to calm down, it might be a good news, we cannot tell yet,” said Drew.

“There he is,” added Drew.

“Dad, Mom, this is Kell, my fiancée,” said Albert.

“Good evening, Sir… Good evening, Ma’am,” greeted Kell.

Both Drew and Jette could not react… They are in shock…

“Can you repeat it, Albert?” said Jette.

“I said, I proposed to Kell yesterday and she said yes,” said Albert.

“Okay, congratulations. Let us eat our dinner,” said Drew.

Jette texted Albert, “What’s this? Can you explain it to me at home tonight?”

Albert answered, “Sure Mom, I will talk to you and Dad later at around 10:00 PM.”

At home:

“Are you kidding, young man?” asked Jette.

“Why, Mom? I love Kell and I am already an adult, I can decide on my life already,” said Albert.

“Young man, talk to Daddy. How serious are you with Kell?” asked Drew.

“Much Dad. I already met her parents, Sir Lasik and Ma’am Hilary,” said Albert.

“Hilary?” asked Jette.

“Yes, what’s cute Mom is that Kell’s Mom, grand mom, and great grand mom all have the same name, ‘Hilary’. Isn’t it cute, Mom?” asked Albert.

Drew and Jette were speechless. When Albert left, they talked intimately.

“Dad, I hope what I’m thinking is wrong,” said Jette.

“Me too, darling,” said Drew.

“Remember, the one who abducted Father Harry when he was a kid is someone whose name is ‘Hilary’. If ever, we need to know if her great grand mom is the person responsible for the a*******n of Father Harry,” said Jette.

“Darling, can you invite Kell over?” asked Jette.

“Why Mom?” asked Albert.

“I just want to know her better,” said Jette.

“No, I changed my mind. I will just call her, can I?” added Jette.

Jette: Hello, can I speak with Kell?

Kell: Speaking, Ma’am. Who is this?

Jette: This is Albert’s Mom. Can we meet?

Kell: Oh hello Ma’am. Sure, at Albert’s favorite coffee shop?

Jette: Sure, 3:00 PM. I’ll wait for you there.

Kell: Sure, Ma’am.

At the coffee shop:

“Hi Kell. Come on, order your choice of coffee. My treat!” said Jette.

“Thanks a lot, Ma’am,” said Kell.

“How are you Ma’am?” asked Kell.

“I am fine. Well, what do you do for a living, Kell?” asked Jette.

“I am an Engineer also Ma’am,” said Kell.

“Albert told me that there’s a cute thing about your Mom’s name,” said Jette.

“Yes. My Mom, my grand mom, and my great grand mom have the same names,” said Kell.

“Why is it?” asked Jette.

“My great grand mom was the one behind it,” she added.

“You might look similar, I guess,” said Jette trying to fish some information.

“Yes!!! You got it right, we look alike during her younger years,” said Kell.

“Do you have pictures?” asked Jette.

“No, I don’t,” said Kell.

Jette thought of ways on how to trace or know whether Hilary, the abductor is the same Hilary as Kell’s great grand mom. Then, an idea popped up in her mind.

“Can you excuse me for a second? I just have to take this call,” said Jette.

On the phone:

Jette: Hello, Father Harry. Can I call you via videocall?

Harry: Why, Jette? Is there a problem?

Jette: None. I just want you to recognize somebody. This is Albert’s fiancée and I have a doubt that she’s related to Hilary, your abductor.

Harry: Does he have a picture of Hilary?

Jette: No, but she said she looks exactly like her great grand mom.

Harry: Okay, let me see.

“I’m sorry Kell for taking so long. This priest friend of mine wants to call me via videocall because we have a pact and that is to pray together every 4:00 PM,” said Jette.

“Sure Ma’am,” answered Kell.

Videocall:

Harry: Oh my God. I got to go Jette. I felt something strange.

Jette: Father, are you okay?

Harry: Yes. But I feel a little under the weather today.

Jette: Okay Father, Bye…

At the church:

“Oh my God. I feel nervous right now. The traumatic experience I had when kidn*pped resounds in my head,” said Harry to himself.
