Jette was given an assignment by her Mommy Candy. And that is, to finish reading all the pages of the book. What is really the content of the book?

THE MYSTERY REVEALED: WHEN AN IMMORTAL CURSES, SHE CURSES ETERNALLY

A heredity… Something that starts from the great grandpa of the one whose name is “Bridgette Arden”… It will not perish… It always happens… At the end of every quarter, a girl or even a boy to whom this book visits, will turn into a white furry dog in the midnight of that day until the sun rises. He or she will continue to transform into a dog for three days. The curse will continue and anyone who will know about it will die… “Bridgette Arden”… This girl is the only person who can break this curse. And that is by burning this book… I hope you can… Because this is unburnable…

CHAPTER 1

I am one lucky fairy who has been allowed by the Queen to temporarily leave the fairyland to visit the land of the mortals. Because of the happiness it gives to me, I tried to imitate what a real human being does. This book will be my journal.

Part I: My First Day on Earth

Dear Journal,

I am Gaymo. I am 100% fairy and I live in the beautiful land of fairies, where everything is colorful, clear, cold, and everything is beautiful. I am now here on Earth. I met a girl named Fatima, and we became friends. Because I speak strange, she taught me how to speak in English. As fairies, we are intelligent and could easily adapt from the changes. The next day, Fatima was amazed that I can already speak fluent English.

“No darling, you will see there the weaknesses of Gaymo,” explained Candy.

“Yes, you’re right, Mommy,” said Jette.

Part II: I First Used My Magic on Earth

Dear Journal,

This is the time where I first used my magic on Earth. I do not eat because our food is different from theirs. Our food is the combination of leaves of the greenest plant in town and the natural sugar from sugarcane. I was very hungry then I picked all the green plants in town using my magic. I compared all of them, and when I found out the greenest of all, I used my magic to get sugarcane from the plantation nearby. I ate a lot, and because of that, I am now so full. I need to go out for a while and talk to my friend, Fatima.

*** After talking to Fatima ***

I found out that Fatima has a boyfriend and his name is Mario. She will introduce him to me tomorrow and I don’t know what to do. Is he kind too?

Part III: My First Love

Dear Journal,

Today, I met Mario. He is cute. He is actually the most handsome guy I have met in my entire life. He looks at me so dearly. He told me I’m cute. Yes, Fatima is his girlfriend but is it prohibited here on Earth to have more than one girlfriend? In fairyland, we do not have a mate. No matter what, I just know that I love him. Does he love me too?

I will call him right now…

*** After calling him ***

Journal, I have never been so happy… this happy. I talked to him tonight for 3 hours. He likes the way I speak and I guess we’re already… hmmmm… we already have mutual love this time.

Then Jette immediately thought of the words which Gaymo told her when she was abducted by her years ago.

“In this book, I will be able to know whether the words of Gaymo before are true or not,” said Jette to herself.

“What are her words before?” asked Candy.

“Let me recall… Gaymo said, ‘I used to be half human, half fairy. I met your grandpa, Mario when our queen allowed me to visit the Earth and interact with human beings. We started as friends, until Mario became someone so dear to me. I fell in love with him, and promised our queen that I can be able to marry a human being, and bring him here in our fairyland. But when I told Mario about it, he didn’t want to be with me. I cried a river, but he just laughed at me and told me that I’m going crazy. He didn’t believe everything that I told him. He even created one night’s a mockery. We went out for a party together with his friends, then I introduced myself as his girlfriend. But Mario insulted me and told everyone that he’s not going to date someone who is crazy.’

“See? There are lots of inconsistencies,” said Candy.

“Yes, she told me she is half human, half fairy. But the truth is she is 100% fairy,” said Jette.

“What else?” asked Candy.

“Gaymo also said, ‘Yes, I know everything. You’ve been struggling with your mental health issues and that’s because of me. Remember your grandpa called me “crazy” all the time? I cursed him to suffer insanity instead, and I even cursed that mental illness will dominate his entire family. That’s why your Mom suffered from bipolar disorder, your brother has some mental health issues as well, and you… I have to admit, I got guilty. I know that you’re not part of your grandpa’s ill intention and treatment on me. I brought you here because I want to remove all the curses I made,” said Jette.

“Another false statement,” said Candy.

“She said she brought you there to remove all the curses she made, but the truth is she tricked you and robbed ‘years’ from you,” added Candy.

“I guess, you need to study it more, darling. Tell everything to me tomorrow, I am already sleepy. Let’s go home,” said Candy.

Candy and Jette went home. But on their way home, “Darling, do you know a girl named Keesh?” asked Candy.

“Yes Mommy, she’s Crystal’s best friend,” said Jette.

“Let us call her,” said Candy.

“Mommy, I’m so lucky I have a Mommy like you,” said Jette.

“It’s alright. I am so happy too to be your mother,” said Candy.

“At least, now we know that Crystal is safe,” said Jette.

When everyone is asleep, Jette proceeded to her office. And continued reading the book.

Part IV: The Confession

Dear Journal,

Today I confessed my feelings for Mario. He just smiled back at me and kissed me on my cheeks. My heart skipped a bit. I am so happy right now. I have to tell Fatima about this. Do I need to tell her?

Part V: The Confession, Indeed

Dear Journal,

I decided to talk to Mario. Here is our conversation…

Gaymo: Mario, do we need to tell this to Fatima?

Mario: Tell what?

Gaymo: That we’re dating, and we love each other.

Mario: Huh? You went too far, Gaymo.

Gaymo: You mean, you don’t love me?

Mario: Of course I love you, but as a friend.

Gaymo: But you kissed me.

Mario: Yes, because I love you as a friend. You’re like a sister. You remind me of my sister, Martha.

Gaymo: I hate you.

That is our conversation. I hate him so much right now. I was embarrassed with all the things he said. If that’s not love, then what is it? Will magic do some changes?

Part VI: The Magic Spell

Dear Journal,

I made a potion which I will use to get Mario back. That will make him in love with me. It was a success. I let him drink it, and after an hour, he made a very weird proposal.

He said…

“Everyone here in this plaza, lend me your ears. I will now propose to this girl who let me see the true meaning of life. Before, I thought life is dark, full of hopelessness. But this girl shows me that if you really love someone, you will live in the present and forget about the past, as well as what the future holds. So, let me spend all my life with you… Will you marry me?”

And of course, I said YES.

Fatima? Well, if she really loves me as a friend, she will be happy for me.

Part VII: The Traitor

Dear Journal,

I am so mad right now. You know why? It is because of this Fatima. Fatima discovered my secret and she approached someone with witchcraft knowledge. They removed the curse I made on Mario. Of course, Mario left me. I am now thinking of an effective way on how to take revenge on Mario and Fatima.

Part VIII: I Abducted Mario

Dear Journal,

I abducted him and brought him inside our fairyland. I made him realize that time runs slow but I made a trick on him. An hour spent in our fairyland is equivalent to 1 year. But this Fatima is so persistent. She made a potion that will destroy my fairyland. That is a combination of an elephant’s tears and saliva of a crocodile. She used it as gasoline and lit a candle. Immediately the fairyland was burned. But I managed to skip from the fire… I went back to the Earth and lived as a human being.

For so many years, I lived as human. I had a family. I met a very kind man who accepted me for who I am. He is Galleon. We were given a child.

“Oh my God, it means Gaymo has a child. Where is he or she right now?” asked Jette to herself.

“And Galleon? Is he still alive?” added Jette.

Part IX: Rebuilding Fairyland

Dear Journal,

From now on, I will turn this journal into a Mysterious Book that whosoever will find this will be cursed. I made this decision because they took my child away from me. They also killed Galleon. Up to this day, I do not know who did it. But I have this idea that it might be the family of Mario and Fatima. Yes, I do not have any evidence but I have this gut feeling. They are the ones behind my family’s tragic death, and my child’s a*******n.

Part X: CURSES FOR MARIO’S FAMILY OF ALL GENERATIONS

1.      Bridgette Arden: She is the granddaughter of Mario. I know her name because Mario keeps on telling us before that “Bridgette” is a very nice name and he will name her favorite granddaughter the said name.

That whosoever granddaughter Mario has named “Bridgette Arden” will suffer so much. The transformation into a white furry dog every end of the quarter. 3 days straight.

2.     The daughter of Bridgette will be her savior. On her 18th birthday, she will inherit the curse. Her mother will be spared from the said curse.

As long as I am free and alive, the curse continues.

“Alas! That’s it! I need to kill Gaymo for Crystal not to suffer everything that I have suffered,” said Jette to herself.

Then she continued reading…

As long as Gaymo is powerful, the daughter of Bridgette will not be spared from the curse.

3.     The brother of Bridgette will also suffer the said transformation once every full moon.

Gaymo is so powerful that whosoever witnesses the transformation will die.

“Wow!!! So, telling my family about it will not make them die. They will only die if they witness it with their own eyes,” said Jette.

“And John also suffers the same fate, how sad he doesn’t share it to anyone,” added Jette.

4.    Every second child of Mario’s grandchildren and every generation, will suffer from the said transformation. True love’s kiss? No. It’s so overrated. No love will save them from the said curse.

5.     I will be the only key to end this. To burn the book, the tears of an elephant and the saliva of a crocodile will be used as gasoline and let it explode. If I will be killed, then the curse will end as well…

But I am IMMORTAL…

“Oh God… How can I kill someone who’s immortal?” asked Jette.

Then she turned on the last page…

And it says,

ONLY MY CHILD WILL KILL ME… BUT NO CHILD WILL KILL HER OWN MOTHER… MAY ALL THE LUCK BE WITH YOUR ENTIRE CLAN, MARIO AND FATIMA.
