Chapter 18

Tori's POV

I woke up and trudged into the landing, Orin's door was wide open and I could see that he was out of bed. There was a note attached to the door.

TORI, YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE, SEBASTIAN, JAKE AND CHARLIE, RING A BELL? I CAN NOT BE HERE TO SCOLD YOU AS MEL IS REALLY UNWELL SO I AM STAYING WITH HER. DO NOT THINK YOU HAVE GOT AWAY LIGHTLY WITH THIS VICTORIA CHARLES.

ORIN.

Shit. That's, ouch. How did he find out though? He might of f*******: stalked me again... Ugh! He seems more disappointed than angry though, which is never a good sign and always the worst reaction in my opinion. I spent about 10 minutes debating whether I should text Sebastian, seeing if he's ok, after all she is his sister.

T- hi, um are you alright with Mel and everything?

I got a reply almost straight away.

S- yeh I'm fine x

T- what happened to Mel?

S- she got knocked down, this morning... She was unwell yesterday so they came back early. She for some reason floundered out into the road, saying she felt dizzy and strange and a car hit her

T- I'm really sorry, is she alright?

S- she's alright I think

S- look I know I'm the last person you want to see, but can you come to the hospital? X

Wow. I can't believe it. I was about to refuse rudely, he's a d**k, but I still care about him, and this was a tough time, I'll give that to him.

T- ok, be there in 10

S- thanks x

T- no problem

I was not at the point where I could start putting kisses and cheeky emojis back into our texts again. I still hate him for what he did.

I got to the hospital quickly and said that I was close family of Mel, I know I lied but... I can't face the paper work, and the supervision and all that. I entered the room. Orin looked at me with no expression on his face, I knew he was still mad. I didn't try to push my luck, it was amazing that he wasn't screaming at me right now. "Tori" Sebastian said and tried to hug me, I tried to dodge but in the end agreed and we had a very awkward hug. "How is she?" I said looking down at Mel. "Fine, we're waiting for the doctors to return with some results" Orin said not looking up at me. We had been at the hospital for 40 minutes and Mel had to stay in for another couple of nights. The doctors told us to go home and get some rest and so we all got in Orin's car and drove back. We stopped at our house and got out. "Victoria" Orin called. Signalling to the front door. "Ok wait one sec" I said turning to Sebastian. "Yes?" He asked. "Well, I just wanted to say. I know what it feels like to have someone that really matters to you seriously injured, so what I'm trying to say is that I'll always be here for you" I said, almost through gritted teeth. THERE I said it. Phew. "Thank you, what happened to you, if you don't mind me asking" he asked looking down at me. "My grandad had dementia and a stroke, it was... Er pretty hard to cope with" I said, trailing off and staring at the floor. "I'm so sorry" he said and suddenly grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. I embraced it, it was nice, comforting. "Victoria!" I heard Orin shout from the house. "Wish me luck" I said waving. "Good luck!" He called chuckling. I entered my doom. Before I entered to kitchen I prepared myself for a whole lot of shouting. Orin was waiting for me. "Well? Are you going to explain?" He said, he had his hands on his hips, he did kinda look funny, but nows not the best time to comment on that. "Umm. Well I'm 17 and I had a couple of boyfriends, so what? Happens all the time" I said shrugging. He put his hand to his head and shook it. "The point is that you disobeyed my strict instructions, no boys!" He said sternly. "The point is Orin that I'm seventeen and I'm your sister, not your f*****g daughter!" I exclaimed loudly, storming upstairs. "Don't walk away from me Victoria! And don't swear at me like that!" He added. I stopped on the stairs. "Oh I'm so sorry dad, I just sit on the bloody naughty step" I shouted and went to my room. My phone buzzed. Sebastian.

S- hey x

I didn't reply, I couldn't.

The next morning I felt s**t. Absolute s**t, I couldn't believe that Sebastian had yet again bargained with me and got himself another chance. He texted me more and more last night until I had to reply because it was as bad as spamming!

S- Tori Tori Tori Tori

S- Tori Tori Tori Tori Tori Tori! I won't stop!

T- what????!!!!

S- knew u were there

T-

S- will you go on a date with me?

T- and whys this? Another chance to prove yourself?

S- yes but this time I shan't fail

T- I'd bet money that you would

S- please, one more chance

T- ....idk

S-

T- I don't know what to say...

S- say yes

T- oh alright then but this is the last chance EVER!

S- i knew you'd come to the Cookie Monster in the end

T- don't get too cocky

S- everyone loves my c**k

T- ughh any more of that and you can forget that last chance!

S- SORRY SORRY!! I'll behave

T- alright Sebastian night and wake up a pure man tomorrow

S- already am babes ❤️

I thought about what Sebastian had proposed, a date? A date? Was this going to go down well?
