"I am detective Caleb, her partner." Caleb said, putting his hand on his chest as he pulled Jasmine aside by the hand.
"Who is this delinquent?" one of the men asked, looking at Caleb like a piece of s**t.
"He is her partner at work," Maxwell said, glaring at Caleb.
"How come we haven’t seen you on TV with her?" one of them asked.
"That’s because I just started working with her and I have stage freight." Caleb replied with a smile.
One of the men stepped forward and nudged Caleb aside, extending his hand to Jasmine, who glared at Caleb before placing her hand on his. He took her hand and led her to the dancing floor. He put his hand on her waist and grasped her hand, putting it on his shoulder.
They started dancing to slow music, followed by other elegant couples. Jasmine was smiling
