Jasmine stood up from the chair and dropped her empty cup of coffee on the small glass table in front of her, forcing a smile.
"Thank you ma'am, it was delicious and refreshing." Jasmine beamed, bowing slightly.
"Thank you, ma’am." Caleb said, making a small bow. The old lady smiled at both of them and relaxed on her couch.
"You are welcome, it’s nice to have company. It’s been a long time since my kids visited me and I have been lonely," the old lady said.
"You know, youngsters these days have one thing to do or the other and are always busy with work, so they don’t have time to visit family members. Like me, I don’t remember when I last visited my parents." Jasmine said.
"You should try to take a break from work sometimes and visit them; it will do you no harm," the old woman advise
