What was he thinking would happen hunting tonight after feeding. He was still stuck on Scarlett and how much he wanted her that he couldn't even focus on what he needed to do. The crime scene was mostly gone by now that not even Scarlett's scent lingered. He sighed softly about to give up when a rustle in the trees and bushes behind him caught his attention. Turning around he was looking into the eyes of one of the windigos haunting these woods and all thoughts of Scarlett was gone. It noticed the look in his eyes and likely what she was and with that he was gone and Kai was on the hunt.
