I frowned under closed lids as I smelled the overwhelming scent of something sweet that was in the room, I opened my eyes to see that there was indeed a pastry that was dangled in front of my face with a naughty child attached to it.
Once he noticed that I was awake, he pulls away, the plate of to what I assume was the chef's famous apple pie in his small fingers. I was about to say something but he put his palm on my mouth stopping me. He then placed the pointer finger of his other hand against his lips, mentioning to my side.
To my surprise I found my mate sleeping, she looked very uncomfortable with only her head resting on the bed and her lower half seated on a small stool.
