The static in the air was heavy, the earth beneath their feet seeming unfamiliar, unsteady. The white bright light nearly blinding everyone. Everything was still, eerie and quiet.
Time slowed to a halting tick, and every element on this earth seemed to follow in suit. Everything a pale white. Like a clock winding, it rotated. Spinning in a counter clockwise direction, and time itself re-winded to that dreadful time in history.
It seemed to last for quite some time.
