I will every muscle in my body to budge, to run away because the sight before is just too much to see.
But I can't, and neither can anyone else. We all watch in silence as our future Luna finishes tasking the blows against her back without even an ounce of emotion on her face. When the pack warrior puts the whip down, he bows his head as she stands up and takes a towel from his hand to clean the excess blood.
I step forward to wipe them for her, but Thomas' mate, Matilda beats me to it. She takes the towel and starts dabbing at the lash wounds with tears rapidly streaming down her face. I and Matilda are the only one who knows Autumn is Luka's mate, apart from Thomas and maybe Liam.
My lips curl into my mouth as the broken skin on her back is revealed when she swivels around
