Autumn's POV.
I wake up to an empty bed. Earlier today, I had woken up to the sound of Luka's rapid heartbeat. He said that he was fine. I leave the bed to go do my normal morning routine. Down there aches. After I'm done, I go find Luka. I don't see him around. He should be in his office. When I get there, I notice that Sarah isn't here yet. Knocking on his door, I open it just to see him deep in his thoughts. He looks at me. His eyes are blood-red and have bags underneath them.
“Hey, Luka. Are you alright?" I ask.
He breaks our eye contact. “I'm fine, Autumn." He says gruffly.
Autumn? I can't remember when last he called me by my name. Something is definitely wrong.
