"If you're already this strong, what do you even need me for? I could see that all of your equipment are already Legendary items and you don't even need to enhance those anymore." She asked again, her fingers tapping her chin while still reading my profile.
"I still don't have the exclusive Marionette Weapon." I said and she looked closely.
"Ah, you mean the Ring of Omniscience? I'm sorry but I can't make that kind of item here." She said and I sighed.
"Do you know any way on how to achieve that?" I asked.
"Well, most exclusive weapons can be found on high-level dungeons that has something to do with your class so you should start with that. Although the loots and drops are rare, it should be easy for you to repeatedly defeat the bosses and get the ring and more." She explained and I thanked her.
In the end, I just gave her most of my extra equipment in exchange for gold. At first she insisted on paying them with Enchanted Ores for upgrades but I have more than enough of that to level up each of my equipment to 100.
"This is the first, and probably the only, time that I've seen so many Legendary items! This is going to make me so rich!" She jumped from excitement as she inspected the piles of armor on the ground one by one.
"I'm going now. Thank you for accommodating me." I slightly bowed and she whacked my head with an iron helmet.
"I should be the one thanking you, i***t. You know what? In exchange for all of these, you get a lifetime of free services here in my workshop. What do you say?" She grinned at me as I caressed the part of my head that she just hit.
"That's not a bad idea." I shrugged with a smile.
After all, one of my main goals right now is to gain allies and friends instead of enemies and rivals. It'd be awesome if one of them is a Blacksmith, and the best one at that (according to her).
I said my goodbyes and we exited the room. I was greeted by a large crowd behind the counter. They were murmuring and whispering and as soon as Amelie closed the door behind us, all their attention turned to me.
I let out an inaudible sigh and set down my gaze on the floor.
This is probably a good opportunity to practice one of my newer high-tier skills - Mind Manipulation - to make all of them ignore my existence, but we're not allowed to use any abilities in a non-combat zone.
"I'll see you again someday!" Amelie patted my shoulder, unaffected by the large crowd.
I nodded at her and excused myself through the crowd. Thankfully, they're cooperative and stood out of my way as I walked passed by them.
Even when I got outside of the shop, there's still a pretty big crowd. I guess someone spread the word that I'm here.
But unlike the people inside of the shop, someone instantly blocked my way the moment I step foot outside.
I was surprised by the intervention to the point where I had no choice but to look at whoever it was standing on my way. I blinked in mild confusion at the male human Holy Paladin with his arms crossed against his chest, looking at me from head to toe like he's disappointed at what he's seeing or something.
"So, you're the cheater?" He said in such a smug voice that I felt like an angry vein is gonna pop inside my head.
Weird. Usually, I don't mind these kinds of insults or accusations.
"And you are?" I replied with an equal arrogant tone in my voice that earned some silent gasps in the crowd. I made my voice deeper than my real voice so I guess it's more than enough to intimidate people.
I don't know how I did it, but I somehow successfully shook the Paladin by just talking. I then realized that they were all looking at something on my body.
I glanced down and I saw some kind of thick dark smoke is leaking out from my hands. I closed them into fists and it disappeared instantly.
I don't know what's happening but I need to get to some kind of dungeon to let out my powers before I accidentally break the rules, again.
"Let me through." I said and glared at the Paladin, causing him to immediately step aside with the rest of the crowd.
I walked so fast to the point where I almost got lost. I arrived at the gates of the town and then I finally pulled my map from my bag.
I'm currently in Raveryn, the neutral country where all races and classes live together, that has the biggest population out of all the six countries in the entire Halcyon continent.
As of the moment, there's still no ruler of Raveryn. It's mostly the reason why all of the admins would gather here every once in a while to make sure that everything is going smoothly.
To the North is Erellone, the country of Elves, where Eldiorah rules as the High Elf King. They don't usually allow strangers or other races to live among them unless Eldiorah sees them as worthy enough to mingle with their high race.
To the East is Edgehollow, the so-called 'Darkest Place' by most players, where Siegfried appointed himself to be the ruler. It's where Dark Elves, Vampires, Werewolves, Gargoyles and other non-human creatures of the dark live in ruins.
To the West is Wildewick where most Earthly creatures live. It's ruled by Lastef, the King of the Giants. Their population are mostly composed of Faes, Lamias, Merpeople, Centaurs and basically every other mythical creature that we know of.
Lastly, to the South is where Niflheim is found. It's proclaimed to be the most hellish place in the entire continent to the point where not one player has ever gotten even remotely close to its borders.
Malo rules the place as the Demon Queen and that's all what anyone has ever known about that place so far. Even in the game's official website, Niflheim's entire section is still empty.
But the most difficult dungeons are found in that country so I guess that's my next destination. The Ring of Omniscience is probably there.
I don't doubt for a moment that I can surpass the bosses in Niflheim, but I need to practice my skills first before I could go on.
There's another small separate island to the North of Erellone, but it's still unfinished. One of the devs hinted about it being some sort of PvP Tower but it hasn't been confirmed yet. All we know is that they're planning to expand that island into a country of its own.
Maybe I'll just go to Wildewick first since they're very open to travelers and adventurers. Plus, the region is known to be open to players who are looking for a house that serves as a permanent check point and revival point.
I have to buy my own house so I could store up all of my extra stuff in there.
I went to the Guardhouse just outside of the gates and I saw four male NPCs standing still, fulfilling their duties. They're all wearing standard Knight armor, but their faces are visible due to their helmets being open.
I walked up to one of them and cleared my throat.
"I need a carriage to Wildewick." I said and one of the guards nodded without looking at me.
"Please wait here, sir." He replied and ran back inside the gates.
A few minutes later, a black horse-drawn carriage came with the guard walking just behind it. The coachman is dressed in simple clothes like a normal villager.
It stopped in front of me and the guard opened the door for me to step inside. As soon as the small door closed, the carriage started to move.
I know I'm acting like some sort of royalty, but I have way too much money to not take advantage of. Besides, the clothes that I bought are more expensive than the fee for this carriage ride.
I checked the map and saw that the ride takes more or less thirty minutes. I could make it faster by increasing the fee but I think I'll take advantage of the situation and log out for a bit.
I just hope nothing happens to my character while I'm in the real world.
