While Ethan confidently continued holding onto me protectively, Seraphina had rushed over to put Mason in check.
Thankfully, he’d realized quickly that he was in a very public setting and couldn’t afford to cause a scene. He locked intense gazes with me across the crowded room before being firmly pulled away by Seraphina.
