Unexpected visitor

I picked up the second-to-last tray of drinks I needed to deliver and carefully made my way past the crowded bar counter. The place was absolutely packed today with customers. Most of them I unfortunately recognized as regular patrons, which made me incredibly uncomfortable. If there was any possible way for me to get out of working this particular shift, I would have taken it in an absolute heartbeat. But this was technically the afternoon shift, which was generally the safest and least problematic time to work here. The really bad harassment, the crude name-calling and inappropriate physical touching, happened mostly during the late-night shifts. That’s when all the stupidly entitled drunk men came crawling out, fully expecting you to cower and submit to their every disgusting whim.
