CHAPTER TWO 

Something wrong with mom 

''of course I would it's not about the looks you know '' 

her answer made absinthe surprised yet happy about what she heard 

'' well then i'll be waiting at our usual place '' she smiled before leaving Eudaimonai's room

 ''Miss eudaimonia would you want your breakfast serve in bed or eat on dining ?'' that butler asked

 ''ah i'll be at the dining so please wait for me '' the butler nodded before leaving the room she get out of her bed and open her big window and scream Mr luci's name loud 

 '' Mr luci!'' her voice echoed 

'' oh yes?''

 oh mister luci is back as the tall black shadow walk behind her she hugged the tall back shadow

 ''oh w-what are you doing?''

 miss eudaimonia hugged him even more '

' Miss Eudaimonia do you mind breaking this hug i cant breathe '' 

she lets go mr luci she sits to her bed

 '' where have you been? i was worried you know and you leave me i dont even know a single thing about this game '' she said with a little pout on her lips

 ''well my bad , there was something that i need to fix '' he explained 

'' so this stage you need to prevent  Aziel's death in the upcoming ball The one that he love will poison him and the one that he love need to be stopped who knows why they want to poison Aizel if he love them you're the only one who can prevent it Absinthe and Aizel need to end up together  '' he added 

'' that sounds hard '' 

'' who knows Miss Eudaimonia but who do you think is the one that he loves ?'' he asked trying to give her a clue 

'' hmm well i love him but im not sure if im the ones he love so i think its obviously Mister hernan '' she said not getting the clue 

'' you're not sure '' Mr luci chuckled 

'' then who?'' no one answered 

'' you're so rude some times Mr luci i swear im not talking with you anymore after this !'' 

'' Miss Eudaimonia! breakfast is ready!'' butler yelled 

'' Yes im coming!'' she answered and run out of her room didn't even bother her clothes . she was running in the hall way she stopped when she heard a few conversation in her mom's room 

'' well first is we need to get rid Isolde's daughter Absinthe she's always getting on our way!'' her mom said looks like she's talking to someone 

''uh what should we do ?'' Eudaimonia recognize the mans voice but cant remember who's voice is this

 '' throw her away to this two or kill her Aizel need to end up with Eudaimonia '' she answered to the man's question her eyes we're widened 

'' Eudaimonia what are you doing ?'' its her brother keith '

'uh'' 

'' you know that ears dropping  on someone's conversation is not what our dad teach us '' he grabbed her by the arm and dragged her in the dining 

''but-'' he cutted her off by  putting his hands to her mouth their mom walked in and sat on the chair 

'' what are you two doing?'' she asked before taking a sip on her wine

 '' nothing actually we just finished eating the food we're going for a walk see later '' he said before dragging her out of the castle. He takes her in the side of the river

 '' brother why did you take me here ? do we need to do something to do here ?''she asked her

 ''Nothing actually if we stayed there mom will scold you again and stop calling me brother im not '' he said before sitting beside the river 

''if you're not my brother , then you are my?'' she stand behind him 

'' hmm I'm your brother's friend he died years ago you know? he didn't survived we we're attacked by the terrorist  he said he always wanted to protect his little sister to your mom,   but he didnt make it so i'll be the one who will be protecting you from now on '' he looked back at Eudaimonia with a smile  that make her heart fluttered he lifted his head up to the sky with his eyes closed feeling the wind touches his skin he have a such a angelic face she smiled and sat next to him she lifted her head up and closed her eyes he slipped his hand on the top of her hand 

''its that a promise ?'' i asked 

''Yes it is Miss Eudaimonia '' he said and looked at her in the side of his eyes 

''better keep it then '' she said while her eyes is still closed but there's a smile on her face he started to hum 

'' what song is that ?'' she asked 

'' hmm what song ?'' he said and look at her

 '' the one that you're humming '' she said 

'' ah that its called merry go round of life it was composed by joe hisashi  i heard your dad played that in the piano while your brother and i watch him play before he left '' he said and smiled bitterly you can see his sadness

'' oh where's dad ?'' she asked 

''One day he left from work and never came back that was the last song that he played before he left us  '' he said 

'' oh.. sorry but  can you play it ??'' she asked 

'' hmm sure but not now '' he said before standing up

 '' why ??" she asked 

''well there's a lot of things i need to do first '' he smiled before leaving her alone she put her attention back on the river 

'' Miss Eudaimonia !'' Absinthe stand behind her Eudaimonia  look back at Absinthe  

'' oh hey absinthe '' she smiled 

'' why are you still in your night gown?" Miss Eudaimonia realized and grinned 

Absinthe chuckled Eudaimonia stomach growled 

'' i haven't eat yet '' Absinthe  chuckled

 ''i have prepared  a food lets go '' she offered her hand to Miss Eudaimonia , Miss Eudaimonia gladly takes it .

''wahh this taste good!!'' her eyes sparkled Absinthe chuckled 

'' slowdown Miss Eudaimonia '' 

'' did you Make all of this croissant ??'' she asked while munching 

''yes but slowdown '' she said and looked at miss eudaimonia worriedly after they finished eating they both leaned at the tree 

'' I want to take a nap '' she yawned 

'' you can use my lap as your pillow so you can take a nap '' Absinthe offered smiled

''okay then '' she lay down in the grass and use Absinthe's lap she gently close her eyes as  Absinthe hummed the same song that keith hummed  her voice remind her of keith she have a soft sweet voice same like keith they even have a same blonde hair color so When Eudaimonia look at Absinthe it will remind of her brother keith , Absinthe watch her sleep  Eudaimonia's lips caught her attention she leaned down forward to Eudaimonia's face her body is moving by it self 

'' Eudaimonia! Absinthe'' Aziel ran towards to the tree where Eudaimonia and Absinthe is resting , she was startled and go back to her normal position with a red blushing face 

'' A-aizel what brings you her?'' 

'' oh she's sleeping I got new books from her brother's library shop '' he said and sat next to to Absinthe 

''oh too bad she's sleeping right now '' he poked Eudaimonia's cheeks they both chuckled Eudaimonia smiled 

'' looks like she's having a nice dream'' aizel smiled 

Eudaimonia gently opened her eyes 

'' hey bought books from your brother's  library shop '' aizel showed the books that he got 

'' WAHHH, does he  have a second copy of this book?'' Eudaimonia's eyes sparkled

'' I don't know but I don't think he do '' he said ''why you can just borrow mine'' he added 

'' nah thanks I'm careless so i'll probably ruin your book and it wouldn't look nice when i return it back to you so yeah byee i'll be back !'' she waved goodbye with a smile

she arrived in her brother's shop 

''keith?'' her voice echoed to the library  she tried to find her keith but he's really not there she leaved her brother's shop 

''Eudaimonia ?'' her mom saw her

 ''Ooof '' she tried run away from her mom. Keith just got back in his library shop from the castle it was raining he saw his brother outside his shop standing nothing was preventing her from the rain she was soaked 

''Eudaimonia? is that you ?'' she look at behind her and saw him standing inside his Shop she smiled 

''Keith!'' she was smiling brightly 

''hey Eudaimonia what are you doing out there ?'' he asked 

''ah you know mom '' she scratched the back of her neck  he sighed 

'' you should go inside now Eudaimonia  you're soaked don't worry about mom i'll take care of her  ''

she shook her head and said ''I think bathe in the rain is fun! come on join me'' and smiled 

''yeah its fun but you're gonna catch cold if you don't get inside '' he was worried about his little sister  catching a cold

''oh brother don b-'' a loud thunder echoed in the sky that startled her she run inside of her brothers shop and hide behind him 

'' you never change you're still the same  '' he chuckled and give her the towel to dry her self and hot chocolate  and they both sat near  to the bonfire 

''No cause I'm already grown up-'' Another loud thunder echoed in the sky that made her jump on her brother's arm he laughed 

''dont worry someday i will join you in bathe in the rain without the thunder scaring you cause i'll be there beside you  '' he hugged her close to his arms 

'' is that a promise?'' he hummed as an answer 

''hey i remember that you promised that you will play the piano for me '' 

'' ah wait i did?'' she nodded 

'' okay then follow me '' she did what her brother said she followed him he stretched his long slender fingers before he before putting it on the piano keys he was feeling music  he gently open her eyes and look at her and said '' how's that ?'' with a smirk on his lips he saw a happy Eudaimonia clapping her hands  that made a soft smile grow to his lips 

''Miss Eudaimonia ?" the butler walked in that got their attention 

'' your mother wants to talk to you '' 

'' oh okay the see you in the dinner brother!'' she smiled at him before leaving the shop 

she walked inside of her mom's  room 

"mom??'' 

'' oh Eudaimonia sorry about earlier '' she caress Eudaimonia's cheeks 

'' A-ah its okay mom  w-why did you call m-me suddenly ? '' she was feeling uncomfortable 

'' oh nothing actually i just wanna inform you that we're going to have you favorite on dinner ''

''A-ah its that so? well can i leave now?''

'' of course yes!'' she leaved that room feeling uncomfortable by the way her mom  acted
