Carlo’s brothers and all of Jack’s friends were at the door fifteen minutes after they were called.
“That b***h reaches out from the grave…” Bobby fumed.
“Jake has already arranged a meeting at Mr. Hyland’s office at three. We’re seeing Jake at one.”
“She wants the money,” Alberto said. “Tell her there is no money and she’ll go away.”
“Sara Friedman from Family Services will be at Jake’s office with us at one,” Jack told the group, anxiety evident in his voice.
