Saturday, the second week of September
Despite their wishes for a quiet wedding there were sixty people in the church. The pews were decorated with white satin ribbon and white orchids with lilies and baby’s breath. A white satin runner covered the aisle and the organist played Pachelbel’s “Canon” as Carlo walked up the aisle escorted by his brothers and Enzo; and Jack by Bobby, Jason and Reggie. Mama held Bella while Reggie and Giuseppe did the honors as best men.
Reverend Carter married Jack and Carlo with vows they had written for each other.
