Rebecca was so excited, the joy in her were more than a million.
She appreciated the driver and left.
Everyone was avoiding much questions and informational details from her to prevent them, from spilling the tea.
She boarded a taxi back to the hospital.
They arrived,
She stepped out and paid.
The taxi drive off.
She got into the hospital, with joy.
The nurses were so surprise to see her in that mood, and wondered why she came by that time.
It is 10:30pm.
It was already late.
She greeted them, and then, enters her grandmother hospital room.
Grandma was surprise to see her.
"Rebecca what's happening" Grandma asked worriedly.
"Grandma guesssssss" Rebecca teased smiling.
"You know, I'm not good at guessing my princess" Grandma responded.
"Just try, this one time Grandma" Rebecca said.
"You've left Charles for good" grandma said, slightly nodding her head.
"Grandma, no... Don't say that" Rebecca said with a pity tone.
She felt bad at that moment.
"That's the greatest news I'll need to hear" Grandma said, looking at Rebecca.
She knows she's telling her grand child the truth and because Rebecca is too young, she won't understand.
"Grandma! He loves me" Rebecca argued.
"That's not love my angel" Grandma responded. "A man that loves you, won't treat you this way, won't hate your grandma" Grandma added.
"Let's forget about this Grandma and move to the good news" Rebecca said smiling.
She was trying to drift the conversation, she didn't want grandma to keep on talking trash about her soon to be husband.
She believed that Charles only acts up, when he's angry.
"What's the good news" Grandma asked.
"I got a new job" She said excitedly.
"Wow, that's nice" Grandma said.
"Guess the pay grandma" She teased, again with a slight smile.
"50 dollars or 100 dollars or maybe 150 dollars" Grandma responded.
"No grandma, it's 5000 dollars daily" Rebecca screamed.
"50..00 do..ll..ars" Grandma said in shock.
"Yes grandma" Rebecca spoke in excitement.
"What's the nature of this job?" Grandma asked.
"Bar attendant" She replied.
"At where?" Grandma asked again.
"Casino Club, the biggest one in the world" Rebecca replied in tears.
"You mean Casino Club is paying you 5000 dollars for just being a bar attendant" Grandma said.
"Yes grandma, i was so glad when i was given the letter" She said.
"How did you get this Job?" Grandma asked.
At this moment, grandma knew that the job offer was suspicious, you needs verifications.
"A miracle grandma" She said.
"Miracle!" Grandma said.
"I didn't believe it will happen grandma, i just got fired from my work place and boom! I got a job offer from the manager of casino club, they said on the letter that is under recommendation from people I've worked for, look at it here grandma" Rebecca said as she shows her grandma, where it was written.
"This offer is a suspicious one" Grandma said.
"It seems, but we need the money" Rebecca replied.
"Just be careful out there my princess, if you see anything that feels unusual, make sure, you phone 911 immediately" Grandma advised.
"Okay grandma, you need to sleep now, it's 11:20pm" She said.
"I'm not feeling sleepy yet my princess" Grandma said.
"Grandma it is important you sleep, you're still recovering" Rebecca advised.
"My dear, I'm fine, don't worry I'll go to sleep"
Rebecca stood up,
She covered her grandmother with the blanket that was provided to Keep her warm.
She stared at her and kissed her forehead.
"Good night Grandma" she said calmly.
"Good night my princess" Grandma replied.
She sat on the sofa thinking on how Charles will react if he hears this.
She knew how happy he's going to be.
But she wants it to come as a surprise, she decided to surprise Charles.
