Nice didn’t enjoy the week following his fake date with Visho.
Stress, he told himself. Worrying about the party.
He had enjoyed the afternoon out with Visho. It had been freeing, snarking with him and having Visho apparently find him amusing. He never did that with Fritz; Fritz would have been angry. It was so pleasant, not stressing over every word…
Because you don’t care about Visho, Nice reminded himself. Of course it’s not like that in a relationship. Of course you have to worry about the other person’s feelings, have to watch what you say.
There was no comparison. Anyway, this cold feeling in his stomach was probably just hunger.
Nice always worked out and watched what he ate, but he had been doubly assiduous in the remaining week and a half before the party, even
