Inspiration Point
Although I was beginning to realize my dilemma would be no walk in the park, that is just what Zitts suggested. We met on the hiking trail at Will Rogers Park, on the other side of the Santa Monica Mountains, not far from my old place of employment in Beverly Hills.
At the top of the trail on Inspiration Point, we looked out on the whole L.A. basin, which nestled today under a wispy layer of toxic gases from twelve million internal-combustion engines. It was not quite enough to make you cry.
"So which is better," Zitts asked, "predictable s*x with romantic love or unpredictable s*x with a passing l**t?"
"Did you put her up to it?" I was really curious about that one. And I wondered whether he'd had any personal experience in either of those ways.
