CHAPTER 3: The Woman in Red Dress

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRISTAN AND ELISSE!” Everyone gathered inside the dining hall. Every orphan in this orphanage was given a chance to celebrate their birthday even if it's not their real birthday. The extra money that was donated to them was used to prepare for birthday celebrations.

Since 1935, Bluebird Orphanage has housed over a thousand orphans. Some of the fortunate orphans were adopted by wealthy families, while others remained until they reached the legal age of consent, at which point they could legally begin working and living on their own.

They attend school even if they are orphans. However, there is a school for orphans that has professional teachers.

“Thank you, everyone,” Tristan and Elisse both shyly said.

“Wait!” Mother Superior said when Tristan was about to grab a plate. Tristan couldn't wait much longer while starting at those delicious foods in front of him.

There were at least vegetable salad, fried chicken, spaghetti, and a cake. They don't often eat these kinds of foods a lot and is only during celebrations/events.

“Did you two finish your task?” She added. Some of them laugh at Tristan's reaction who was interrupted and couldn't wait to eat.

“Yes, Mother Superior,” they both answered.

They then began to eat. When they finished eating at one o'clock in the afternoon, the nuns decided to organize a game for the kids before wrapping up the birthday celebration.

Everyone had a good time, and the orphans' smiles and laughter were priceless. Those days when the kids became so happy that they forgot about their pasts and their circumstances.

The orphanage has become the children's second home, and they have felt a sense of belonging that they have never felt before.

10 years ago (when Elisse and Tristan were only 2 years old)

Meet Mr. Tom Richardson, a 67-year-old billionaire businessman, the highest taxpayer, and included in the top 10 richest men in the country. He owns the leading ecommerce in the country which is the EMall. He was considered as the ‘Unbothered King of Business Industry' for maintaining his businesses’ performance on top for decades.

He has only one son, Charles Richardson, who is the sole heir to his business. However, due to unfortunate events, his son reportedly died in a car accident. Rumors circulated that his son had gotten some random woman pregnant, but no one knows who she is; only the family knows. Several women and their children approached the old man, pretending to be the wife of the businessman's son, but they were unsuccessful. They only cared because they wanted the man's fortune, not because they truly cared.

Until one day, a woman whose name is Sandra Smith came into the old man's life and seduces him. Sandra is only 32 years old while Mr. Richardson is 57 when they met at an expensive restaurant where the old man is having a business meeting with a foreign investor.

“Great. That would be…amazing,” Mr. Richardson said and was distracted when he saw a woman wearing a red sexy dress sitting on the other table just in front of them. The woman is sitting facing Mr. Richardson, but the foreign investor who's Mr. Richardson talking to is facing backward to the woman so he couldn't see what's going on.

The woman simply crosses his legs that reveals how long and smooth it is. She was alone at the table and doesn't seem like she's waiting on someone. Me. Richardson gulped when he was attracted by the woman but he turned his gaze to the foreign investor, ignoring the woman.

When the waiter arrives and brought their dessert, Mr. Richardson was about to taste the cake when he noticed the woman purposely dropped her fork. No one grabs the attention except him, he secretly looks at the woman who slowly bends her body forward to pick the fork. The woman's dress has a low cut on the chest area so if ever she bends forward, it will reveal most of her breast.

Me. Richardson suddenly choked.

“Are you okay, sir? The foreign investor asked then Mr. Richardson drank water and nodded.

On the other hand, Sandra smirked upon seeing the reaction of Mr. Richardson.

“Got you,” she said through his mind.

Mr. Richardson is a widower since his wife died years ago. It has been years since he felt on that thing between his legs. He then tried to focus his attention on his foreign investor until their meeting is done.

“Thank you, Mr. Kim,” Mr. Richardson said then the foreign man leave.

As soon as the investor left, Mr. Richardson then prepare to leave but when he was about to stand up, Sandra suddenly approached him and put something in his pocket and whispered, “I’ll be waiting,”

Me. Richardson was surprised at what the woman did, then he look at the piece of paper the woman put in his pocket. It stated a hotel address and room number, he knows already what it means. At first, he was hesitant but since he has never done that years ago, he then decided to go.

As he arrived in the hotel room, he was surprised to see the woman wearing on her nighties and suddenly pull him inside as soon as the woman recognize him then lock the door.

“You’re aggressive,” he said then he couldn't wait and kiss the woman passionately.

“And you're hard already,” the woman said as she noticed a big lump between the old man’s legs. She then grabbed the chance to push Mr. Richardson to the bed and took off her clothes. And by that, changes happen to Mr. Richardson's life just because of that one night stand with the woman whom he just met.

The next day, Mr. Richardson woke up and the woman isn't on his side anymore. He thought the woman left him, so he tried to look for his wallet and it's still there, nothing is missing.

Then suddenly the woman came out from the bathroom who looks like who just taken a bath.

“Looking for something? Don't worry I didn't steal anything, chill,” she said then she grabbed a stick of cigarette and lit it.

“Here,” Mr. Richardson handed her a money but she refuses it.

She told him that she doesn't need it, they were still about to talk but Mr. Richardson's secretary suddenly called so he told the woman that he needs to go.

“If you need something, just go to my office,” he said then he leave her his calling card.

“Of course, I will,” she said but the old man wasn't able to hear since he already left.
