Eoin woke just as sunrise began to lighten the sky, peaking long fingers through the thin blinds at the pod windows. It would be a hot day, the coolness of night already being chased away by the rising sun. With a nudge of his onboard, he triggered the ceiling fan above the bed. Cool air began to wash over him and the sleeping occupants of the bed. Archon lay on the opposite side of the bed to Eoin, his back against the wall with Cael nestled between them. Protected.
