Alex was still thinking about what happened when the manager sauntered in, a ridiculous toothy grin plastered on his face, the lights instantly turned bright, illuminating a stray floral pastie on the floor, his grin widened. "I see you had a good time". He said, eyeing the flower on the floor. "I hope you'd become our regular now, I should have done this a long time ago". "Done what?". Alex's voice turned icy. "Added a few drops of magic to her drink, you know what I mean?". He replied, still grinning like a Cheshire cat. Rage exploded through Alex like widefire, without another word he lunged, fist connecting to the managers cheeks in a brutal crack, knocking off two of his teeth. James staggered and fell to the ground but Alex was far from being done with him - another punch landed on his jaw, then his gut, a furious kick had him flying and crash landing on a wooden chair. James's screams attracted attention. Alex's cousin and friend burst in, security hot on their heels, stopping him from kicking the manager again. The damage was done, the greedy man had made a fool out of him. Aria's image lingered on his mind, her rage, and the tears that were threatening to slip out of her eyes. "Let's get out of here alexandrov! Do you want your name in the front covers in the morning?". Dante urged, trying to hold him. Alex brushed their hands off and stormed out of the club. hours later, all three of them were in his penthouse, he had his back to them, staring out at the city, his fingers casually tracing the rim of a glass of scotch , suddenly he threw the glass at the wall and cursed inwardly. The adrenaline was still surging through his veins, four glasses of scotch did nothing to calm him down, maybe if they had let him kill the disgusting worm, he wouldn't still be this furious. "That slimy worm!". He roared, kicking a flower vase, sending porcelain fragment and soil flying across the room and hitting another wall. "Your housekeeper spends at least three hours caring for that flower every morning alexandrov". Leon casually said, lighting up a cigarette, a habit he had picked up at 13, when he ran away from home. "That woman was just a victim, she didn't even know what she was doing. She wasn't even herself!". Alex said, turning to Pace. "How dare the maggot make a fool out of me? I've never been with an unwilling woman, never forced a moan!". He said, then turned to Dante "I don't care how you're going to do it, dig up dirt - enough dirt to keep him in prison for the rest of his life". "Gladly". Dante said, a viscous smile on his face. Alexandrov took out his phone from his pocket and dialed a line, after two rings a voice boomed " at your service sir". "There's a stripper at Sphinx, they call her Aphrodite's descendant, I want everything about her, every single thing, leave out no details". "It'll be on your desk by morning sir". "I want it tonight Jacob". Alex said, hanging up abruptly. The memory of her rage as she yanked his fingers out of her dripping p***y. She seemed familiar but he couldn't quite phantom the reason why, he had never visited the Sphinx not even during his rebellious days. " What do you want to do with all that information?". Leon asked. "Find out why she works for the maggot". "Because she rejected you, you now think she's a saint?". Dante teased, leaning back with a smirk. "She's far from being a saint, a saint doesn't work in a place like that, but she's still the victim here, a victim who might be thinking I had a hand in something so disgusting. I have to find her, and make it clear to her that I'm not that kind of man". "Since when did you start caring about what people think about you? Talk more of a mere stripper?". Leon asked, his eyes dancing with mischief. "She's not a mere stripper, she's Aphrodite's descendant". Dante chimed in, matching Leon's mischievous grin. "Perhaps she's found a way to enchant his c**k". "You both know this is the worst time to piss me off, right?". Alexandrov asked, a menacing glare evident in his eyes. The glare did nothing to wipe off the grins on their faces, his glare could make tougher men crumble to the ground in fright, but years of them being friends have made them allergic to that effect, their grins grew even wider. A knock sounded once, one of his security men walked in holding a brown envelope, he handed it to Alex, then nodded and left. Alex opened it, flipping through a thick dossier. it contained everything about Aria including when she gets her periods - which he didn't need to know, but he was the one who asked for details and Jacob was known for being thorough. "Is she truly Aphrodite's descendant or Hera's spiteful apprentice?". Leon asked, stubbing out a cigarette and lighting a new one. After going through the documents again, he tossed them into the coffee table and dialled a number on his phone, it was answered on the very first ring. "The club needs a new stripper, get me the one they call Aphrodite's descendant". His tone comnanding. "Sir, she works for the Sphinx". A shrilly female voice came from the other end of the phone. "Her contract ends tonight - she signs a new one with us before sunrise".. "Sir -" "Should I do it myself, Patricia? ". He asked icyly. "No sir, I'm on it sir". She said, fear evident in her voice. "Would have thought you grew a heart, it's aways just business and benefits with you". Dante said. "Dante". Alex warned, truly angry this time, not at the tease, but at the raw truth that laid bare underneath it, is it truly business or something deeper?
