Viviana's eyes fluttered open, and she was perfectly still. It took a few moments for her eyes to adjust as she recognized the room she was in.
She was in Matteo's apartment, in Matteo's bed.
She sat up, looking immediately to the other side of the bed and finding it empty. For a moment, she sat perfectly still, and then she climbed out of bed. She tip toed slowly towards the restroom, hearing the shower running. With a smile, she walked back towards the bed, crawling under the comforter. She leaned back against the pillows, closing her eyes and felt the images from the night before flood over her.
