Matteo woke up and immediately felt something was wrong. After a few seconds of blindly looking for Viviana in the bed, he opened his eyes and noticed she wasn't in the room. He sat up, wondering where she had gone to.
"Vivi." He said, climbing out of bed and towards the restroom. She was probably in the kitchen, fixing something to eat. As he pulled on a shirt, he noticed the time- it was past noon, and he frowned, hating to stay asleep so late.
Matteo was the type of man who liked to get the first start, always be ahead of the game. Even on the days he insisted on staying in bed with Vivi, he was always awake early and taking advantage of the day. He didn’t really know what it meant to be lazy. Viviana had to know this, so… why didn’t she wake him?
