"Come on, let me buy you something. You bought me the trenchcoat I wanted so..." I said to Azura, while putting my hands in my pockets.
Before I could finish speaking Azura interrupted me. "You've already brought me plenty, I just wanted to buy you that trenchcoat outfit as a parting gift." Azura explained, as she walked away.
Why did she agree to our deal if she wasn't going to accept my outfit...?
Anyway, it's been a few months since I began training with Miswak, but I still need to learn more about my quantum heart if I wanna keep growing.
Apparently, Mount Helix can only be reached from earth, so I'll have to leave the Andromeda universe and go to Delhévia's Progenitor Universe.
I should use the teleportation talisman Victor gave me to reach earth.
Before I used the talisman, I went into a dark alley outside the clothing store.
The talisman teleported me to an alley in the middle of a bustling modern city in Japan.
I looked around me, taking in the sights as I walked down the street.
Many of the civilians looked up at me with intrigued expressions on their faces, maybe because I'm a foreigner.
Out of the blue, the top of a large building began to crumble causing the foundation of the building to become unstable.
The entire building gradually continued collapsing, as the civilians started running away from the falling building, causing a stampede of scared people to start running towards me.
I activated my wind movement, flying towards the collapsing building at high speeds.
I created a contained whirlwind to stabilize the falling building, simultaneously catching falling glass and debris.
I slowly stabilized the building with my wind magic, but I can feel the building stability slipping away from me.
Abruptly, the building was stabilized by the magic of someone else.
It feels like, gravity magic...
As we combined our magic to stabilize the building's foundation, I noticed the person who cast the magic was a young woman.
"Hey look, it's Aku Qurah!"
"Her gravity magic is really something else, it's no wonder why she's S-Rank before turning 20!"
Rank?
Well Victor did mention hunters and adventurers guilds, but he warned me it'd be best to stay clear of their sugar-coated barbarism.
"I know Aku Qurah, but who's the guy in the black trenchcoat using wind magic."
"I've never seen him before, he's probably an overseas hunter."
"He does look like a foreigner, but he also has japanese features."
"He looks kinda edgy if I'm being honest."
I used my wind movement to fly away, but the woman from earlier unexpectedly cut off my path.
"Do you need something?" I asked, while levitating to the nearest roof.
"My name is Aku Qurah, I'm an S-Rank adventurer. Tell me your name." Qurah asked, as she landed across from me.
Qurah has black hair and dark amethyst eyes which give her an intimidating aura that's exasperated by her cold demeanor.
I could tell from the moment I sensed her earlier, this woman is no joke.
You can take one glance at her purple mage robe and tell she's someone of high class.
I don't sense any devious intent from her, but for some odd reason, she's making me uneasy.
"I'm Senshi Arma." I answered.
"Arma... You wouldn't happen to be the son of Ai Arma?" Qurah asked, as she stepped closer, inspecting me from head to toe.
"The one and only." I replied.
She suddenly stopped moving while observing my face as if she was thinking of something.
"Senshi vanished into thin air over twelve years ago, yet you're claiming to be him. Do you have any proof?" She said.
"Is my presence not enough for you?" I replied.
"I don't believe you. But, lets take a trip to the adventurers management office. We'll find out if you're telling the truth then." Qurah said.
She forced me to enter her luxury car before driving us to the management office.
When we arrived at the management office, all of the civilians and ranked adventurers started crowding around Qurah.
"Sorry, I'm busy at the moment. I'll take pictures with you all another time." She said, as she walked through the crowd.
"How long will this take?" I said in an annoying tone.
"Patience is a virtue, so shut up and give me a moment." She replied.
I smirked before quietly following behind her with my hands in my coat pockets.
"Who's the man behind her? I've never seen him before."
"That's the same wind magic user from earlier, but how're him and Aku Qurah acquainted?"
Qurah led me to the front desk, where she requested something called a peering glass from the receptionist.
A few minutes later, a lady brought out a clear crystal tablet and handed it to Qurah.
"This is a peering glass, its main function is to register hunters and adventurers with a guild automatically by reading their mind. But, luckily for us it also reveals the person's true identity." She explained.
"Just hand it over already." I said annoyed.
The instant I touched the peering glass, the entire tablet shattered into small fragments.
The peering glass shattering caught the attention of everyone in the management office.
"Did it just malfunction?"
"No way. Only S-Ranks are able to shatter the peering glass!"
"You really are Senshi...?" Qurah murmured, as she stared at me, surprised.
"Yeah, I've been telling you that." I said.
"Since you're not an imposter, I can tell you now." She said, before placing her hand on my shoulder.
With a snap of her fingers, she pulled us into the void of the dimensional sleeve.
"You can access the dimensional sleeve, you're definitely not a normal woman. Not that it matters, I assume you're the guide Victor mentioned." I said.
"Yes, I am the only adventurer who can grant passage to the paradoxical mountaintops. I know nothing beyond how to reach the lowest dimension." She explained.
"Helping me reach there is more than enough. So what's this passage you're able to grant?" I replied.
She raised both of her hands in front of her, summoning an enormous demonic tree which opened up revealing a black mist.
"Beyond the mist lies Hel. Once you cross over you cannot leave until you get permission from Hel herself." She explained before walking away back into reality.
I immediately jumped into the mist which blinded my senses for a moment.
I opened my eyes, only to see countless souls fighting with each other endlessly, rising each time they fell, howling with sorrowful cries.
What the f**k?
Suddenly a green message window appeared in front of me.
[QUANTUM HEART SYSTEM ACTIVATED]
[A NEW QUEST HAS BEEN STARTED]
Ah. Great. Even more weird s**t.
[QUEST: DEFEAT 50 DAMNED SOULS]
[REWARD: GATES OF VALHALLA]
Gates of Valhalla? Sounds pretty cool, but what's this quest it's talking about...?
I remember Victor mentioning something about my quantum heart being unique due to wielding Godbreaker at one point, maybe this is connected.
I really don't care right now though, I just wanna vet a drop of my rage on some of these poor souls.
I transformed my right arm into my katana while activating my wind movement.
[NEW SKILL ADDED: MISWAK]
[NEW SKILL ADDED: WIND MOVEMENT]
So all of my abilities are now called skills? Whatever, I'll figure all of that s**t out later.
All of the souls nearby me look like former knights who weren't able to die proper deaths.
My inherit nullification and purification from Godbreaker should be able to deal with these soldiers easily, but I should still be cautious.
I blitzed towards the horde of soldiers, aiming specifically for their vital points, piercing and slashing before they could react.
[QUEST COMPLETED: 77/50 DEFEATED]
[77 SKILL POINTS AWARDED]
[REWARD: GATE OF VALHALLA]
[GATE OF VALHALLA: ABLE TO CONTROL THE EXISTENCE OF FALLEN BEINGS TO YOUR WILL UPON SAYING CHOSEN COMMAND PHRASE]
[SKILL REQUIREMENT: TARGETS MUST DIE BEFORE COMMAND PHRASE IS USED]
Hm, a command phrase?
I can hear the sorrowful cries of the souls clearly now, yet they sound so distant...
To be honest, they're kinda pissing me off.
"Cross The Fog." I said in a calm tone.
My words caused all of the recently slain souls nearby to rise as black and green aspects of their former selves.
[NEW SKILL ADDED: GATE OF VALHALLA]
A shadow army...
It seems my quantum heart is capable of far more abilities than I can comprehend at the moment.
[CURRENT SOLIDER COUNT: 81]
This realm is full of nothing but chaos.
I don't see any stars in the sky, but what's even more creepy is the fact I'm staring at a moon burning with black flames.
Something tells me Mikari is connected to this somehow.
After searching for awhile, I found a kingdom of rubble full of chaos. Strangely enough though, in the middle of this kingdom was a dark castle completely untouched by the chaos.
I began approaching the castle as my shadow army started slaying the nearby soldiers, adding them to our ranks.
I wonder what type of beings I can tame when I reach that castle, hopefully it's someone cool...
Before I could finish my thought, I sensed a massive presence flying towards me.
When I turned around, I narrowly managed to escape the landing of an enormous black dragon with two heads.
