Helena lives alone in a kitchenette in downtown São Paulo, "near" her service, a large Japanese multinational, Shingen S/A, a world reference in fashion and specialized in the production of clothing, accessories and fabrics. Designers from all over the world dream of having their brands produced by this company.
One of them is Dayane Remy Ribeiro, a French-Brazilian friend of Helena and Samantha. She studied fashion at ESMOD in Paris, worked with the biggest names in international fashion and today launches her own collection.
When you say "near" you mean to have the easiest access. Even so, she had to face the São Paulo subway. But it would be much worse if she continued to live with her parents, where the traffic was much more intense.
As soon as he rented the kitchenette, Luiz wanted to live with her, but she was firm, saying it was too soon. She wanted to enjoy living alone for a while. She wanted to celebrate her independence in her own space, earned with hard work, planning and decorating with her own personal touch. Adept at minimalism, she keeps only the essentials in her apartment.
But of course that never stopped him from sleeping at her house.
Luiz shared a rented house with half a dozen UFC fighters and they were all part of an Olympic team in the sport. He tried to get her to train with him, but it didn't work. Helena was an ace in the business world, she even got sponsors and money for her boyfriend's team...
But sports really weren't her strong suit. She was too lazy to exercise. Samantha even joked with her, saying that her favorite sport was book lifting and the only muscles she exercised were the neural ones.
_ Lucky for you to have the biotype in her favor. I just wanted to see if it wasn't... _ It was what her "personal trainer" always said whenever they went for a walk in Ibirapuera Park.
So much so that when she went to her boyfriend's workouts to accompany him, she always took a book to read while he trained. Luiz's friends called her "the girl who reads". And she was proud of that, of dating a girl, who besides being beautiful, was intelligent and independent.
When Helena and Luiz started dating, some profanity nicknamed her "Maria-Tatame", that is, the girl who only dates a fighter. He, his best friend and his family hated that nickname, as she is an elegant, polite woman and doesn't deserve to be treated like any other. She is unique!
Until that fateful day...

In December 2014, Helena was very busy at work and with Luiz moving into her house. At the end of January of the following year, she will travel to Paris to close a big deal with a fashion company, where her friend Dayane also works, and intends to take Luiz with her. It will be like a honeymoon trip. He still didn't know, because she wanted to surprise him.
But little did she know it would be a surprise...

On Christmas Eve, Helena bought a mug from Rock, with the print of her favorite Heavy Metal band. It was the only thing they had in common, they both liked rock, although he liked hard rock better and she preferred the classics. She wanted to buy something better, but due to the rush of the holidays, she couldn't, but only delivered it on New Year's Eve:
_ For you!
_ Thanks baby. What is it?
_ It has something to do with rock...
_ But it does not fit or drum in that box.
_ And why do you want a guitar or drums? If you don't know how to play, you fool?
When he opened the box, he and she couldn't help but be happy:
_ My favourite band!
_ I knew you would like it.
_ You are the best girlfriend in the world. I love you Greek princess!
He kissed her the way she liked best, kiss after kiss as he held her. Helena loved it when Luiz hugged her, she felt protected, loved, desired... and she loved it when he called her a princess, although sometimes he didn't treat her as such. It wasn't that he mistreated her, it was just her clumsiness. He wasn't violent, but he wasn't given to kindness either. He knew how romantic
she was, but she didn't expect romance from him:
_ I also bought something for you, but I forgot it at my mother's house... Actually I didn't buy it, I asked her to buy it.
_ Alright, when you move there, you can give it to me. I'll tidy up my bookshelf.
_ For what?
_ To receive the next book.
_ It is not a book.
_ No?
_ Not this time. It's something for you to use. Much better than a book!
While talking about such a gift, Luiz held Helena's hand. She just gaped at him, wondering what kind of gift would be better than a book. But okay, as it was a gift from her future boyfriend, she couldn't say.
At the turn of the year, each decided to spend it with the family and they would only go out to see each other on the moving day. And it will be on this day that Helena will talk about the trip. She already has his note in hand.
Days after the new year, Helena received a message from Luiz on her w******p:
"Don't look for me yet. There was an unforeseen. I can't say anything now. I'm looking for you. Kisses, I love you."
Not understanding anything, she sent an audio: "My love, what's going on? Is everything okay?"
But she had no answer."Love, I don't know what's going on, but know that I'm on your side!"
No reply.
"Love, I don't know what happened, but I have something to tell you. We're going to travel to Paris."
Anything...
_ What happened? _ Helena started to get worried about Luiz. She couldn't take it and called his mother:
_ Hi Dona Maria, how are you?
_ Yes my dear and you? _ Hearing Luiz's mother's voice made her feel good. And thank the gods, they got along very well.
_ Is Luis there? I cant talk with him...
_ Oh no. He dropped by earlier, grabbed some of his things that were still here, and left.
When she learned that Luiz stopped by his mother's house to get her things, she imagined that he was going to move into her apartment. He thought about telling the lady that they'd decided to move in together, but he held back. Maybe he still hasn't spoken to his mother and she should have heard the news from her son, not from her.
_ Did he say if he would pass here at home?
_ No... he didn't say.
When she realized she wouldn't get the information she wanted, he chose to end the call.
_ Oh ok then! Thank you Dona Maria, bye, kisses!
_ Other, bye!
As soon as she ended the call, she decided to call the dorm where Luiz lived with the team, to see if anyone there knew any information about him. But, unfortunately, no one could answer him. She thanked him and hung up the phone.
Still, Helena remains intrigued...
