As the sun was setting, the great fiery orange ball looked as if it was melting into the ocean itself. As it sank, it was leaving glowing splinters of itself resting upon the waves. Steel stood outside on the balcony of his room; the cool breeze of the evening air cut through the black golf ball shirt of his tuxedo. He watched the last slither of light disappear into the horizon, leaving a deep purple horizon. Steel smiled at the beauty of it all, then returned to the comfortable climate of his room. Steel walked to the dresser and took out a small contact lens holder and cracked open the lid. Taking them out one by one and slipping them over his eyes to change them to blue.
