CHAPTER 18:EACH OTHERS.

All the house staff lined up to greet them and welcome them to the mansion.Entering the large mansion, Scarlett walked side by side with Thane. She stopped to observe the interior design of the living room. It had various contemporary art works from sculpture to paintings and even the vases that were neatly placed along the wall sides. The colours were vintage such as beige,hue,crimson red and burgand. Thane noticed that she was observing the architecture.

"Everything was made to your preferences." he assured her.

"You speak like we are newly weds."

"We shall be each others' soon, so feel free." he leisurely said.

"Each others." she laughed humuorosly " What a funny way to put it."

"Of course, we shall be each others."he attempted to explain but Scarlett was already in laughter. Until now, she believed that she had never met someone as odd as Thane, he had a different perspective of things compared to an ordinary person.

"Come, let me show you to yuor room." he said.Scarlett agreed and followed Thane up the flight of stairs. She was allocated her room. "Call if you need anything."Thane said.

" I do not think I will need anything.

When Thane walked out, she slammed the door shut and landed her plump body to the floor.
