I woke up to a blinding light hitting my face, forcing me to open my eyes. I had no idea what time it was, but I could tell it was still morning. Late in the morning, to be exact. The owner of the house was not on the other side of the bed. Now that I think about it, the barrier I put up between us was at my feet and I was obviously at Sage’s side of the bed. I just hope I didn’t move here when Sage was still sleeping. I got out of bed and did a light stretch. My body was still aching all over, but it was a little bearable now compared to last night. Now the place was brightened up by natural light, I had a clear view of what the room looked like. I knew his room was big, but I never expected it to be that big.
