I felt Percy grasp at the collar of my jacket and shirt simultaneously as he yanked me from the floor, and we both took an extreme pace back to the sitting room. I ran deep into the room and stood by the window as Percy slammed the door behind me and locked it. We stood now in silence as we heard the screams of the demon ring out throughout the home. The sound of this beast seemed to vibrate the very walls around us. It almost seemed as if the earth trembled at its roar. This was enough to let Percy and me know that this demon was alive and well in this manor. I felt almost as if the being had gained in strength as opposed to waning. I had hoped that the journal would have the opposite effect, but perhaps the emotions contained within had now been released and the beast was free from all
