The morning sun rose slowly over the horizon. I found myself sitting on the porch smoking this early in the morning. I had awoken just before the sun arose. I waited for Percy to arrive as the day broke. I could feel such peace once again. I had hoped that I would be able to sleep well last night, but that didn’t seem to be the case. Though I was glad that the spirits and demon didn’t bother me any further. The true relief, however, would come when Percy arrived. I could hear the world springing to life around me as all the animals began making their usual morning noises. I could tell that the day seemed to be bright and peaceful. I hoped that this fact would assist me today when talking with the minister. I couldn’t afford to allow this demon to interfere.
