5. A Frightful Night-2

I felt the bed give in as I slowly sat down on the edge of the frame. I slowly began to remove my suit and lay it on the table across the bed. The fear that I had once held now began to subside. I also could feel an overall sense of relief. I had never been as terrified as I was in the sitting room in my life. I continued to place my clothing on the table. I wondered how I would be able to sleep tonight with such a terror in the house. It felt uncomfortable for me to think about. I could not imagine a more terrifying scenario than the creature doing harm to me as I slept tonight. I could not imagine simply sleeping in the bed. I thought of sleeping directly in front of the door in case the creature returned. It seemed real in my mind that the creature had to open the door to enter the room
