6 SECRETS I awoke with a jolt at the horror of watching myself burn to death. I checked myself to make sure that it was only a dream. Everything seemed to be just the way it had been when I had fallen asleep. I looked toward the window and noticed that the sun had begun to shine through the trees as it rose over the horizon. I stood from the bed and took the pitcher of water back into the kitchen and fetched another pitcher of water from the bucket. I looked out the window as I poured the pitcher full of water. I could feel a sense of peace and joy that the night had passed. It seemed to be a distant memory that I was once fighting for my life against this horrid creature.
