REVELRY
The next morning came swiftly. It seemed in my mind that I had only just fallen asleep. I didn’t even feel the world slipping away as I drifted off into a deep sleep. I was also unsure what time of the morning it had been. Something told me that this rest was not a direct sign that this demon had been vanquished, but I was exhausted from thinking about it. My only thoughts on this day was that I would marry my wife tonight and we would return here and prepare for our trip to New York. Even if she was not prepared to do so, I could buy any clothing or other possessions needed. I still couldn’t be sure that she wouldn’t have many bags.
