Orsa  One grand table was laid out in the hall where we sat together. I hate hungrily, realising I had been unable to eat a single morsel all day. The sun had begun to set and we all laughed and drank together.  “My wife… that dress…” Kai whispered in my ear.  Having him so close to me after being kept away from him all this time was intoxicating. Hearing him call me his wife sent a small ripple of joy down my spine.  “It was Mama Zapada’s. I wished to honour her on the best day of my life,” I said.  Eli overheard and his head snapped up. Both his and Kai’s eyes filled with tears and he raised his goblet to me gratefully.  “May we hear the bride speak on this auspicious day!” he called.  “Hear, hear!” the table shouted in unison.  I grew suddenly nervous but Kai smiled reassuringly
