Mindy: " Aborting a child does not mean that you don't love that person . it just means that you are not ready to take the responsibility and you have other prioritizes like your career for example . "

Tyler: " So you are accepting that you went through an abortion . . . . . . . "

Mindy: " Let us consider for a moment that I was pregnant . What makes you think that the child was yours . "

Tyler: " What do you mean by it ? "

Mindy: " I guess you know what I mean . "

Tyler: " No I don't so tell me what is going on here . "

Mindy: " If you don't know then I don't think there is anything I can do about it . So I better keep going . "

Tyler grabbed her by her arm and pushed her against a car .

Mindy: " What the hell are you doing ? . . . . . . You are hurting me . "

He tightened his grip .

Mindy: " Leave me Tyler what are you trying to do . "

Tyler: " Are you in pain ? "

Mindy: " Yes ! . . . . . Is that even a question ? You are hurting me . Just let go of me . "

Tyler: " No . . . . No . . . I can't , I can't . You have ruined my life . You gave me all hopes for a happy future and then you just took them back . You broke my heart . . . . . . . "

Mindy: " I know what I did to you was wrong . I feel guilty . . . . . feel guilty every second Tyler . I know you wont believe me but that is true . . . . . But there is nothing I can do about it . "

Tyler: " But you can't love me because you have given the special corner of your heart to somebody else . "

Mindy: " I am sorry Tyler but we were never supposed to be . And we will have to accept it . Loving each other means sharing a same journey to a same destination . . . . Tyler: " I know . . . . I know . . . . . .Don't repeat that . Everything is imprinted on my head just as you said it . "

Mindy: " The more close you will be with me the more you will get hurt and I don't want you to get hurt . So just let go of me . "

Tyler: " What makes you think that I don't want to . I want to forget that you were ever a part of my life . I want to forget your name . . . . . .I want to forget your face . . . . . . Even your memories . . . . . .I don't want to hold on to any of that . I even found a girl . "

Mindy: " A girl ? "

Tyler: " Yes . . . . Yes , her name is Lisa . She is very sweet . And you know she made me cookies just like you used to do . . . . . . . . .Oh my God , you see where the problem comes . Every thing around me reminds me of you . . . . . . . She has a puppy and she talks to her and it reminded me of your dog caramel . You also loved her . You even brought her to our date . Anyone else would have thought that it was silly but I thought that it was cute . And remember hoe we planned that after we get married we will get a dog and we will name her caramel . I guess now it's just me . Everything around me of you . You know Just yesterday I was walking in a garden and I spotted some roses , beautiful red roses . And it reminded me that roses are your favorite flowers and in a snap I found me in the church where we were supposed to get married . How beautifully they were decorated with roses . . . . . You must not remember because back then you were planning to ruin my life . You see what the problem is . . . . . . . .I am not able to move on from you . You left me but you left behind your memories with me . . . . . I am burdened under them and I know that one day they will crush me . . . . . . . There's only so much pain a person can handle Mindy . . . . . I am exhausted . . . . . . Just take with you what your left behind . Every time I close my eyes I see you . . . . . every time I go somewhere I hope that I cross paths with you so that I can at least get a look of you . Your voice echoes through my ears . . . . . . Mindy: " I know no matter how many time I say this it won't ease your pain but I was not a good choice for you . You are too good for me Ty I don't deserve you . There's no need to keep hovering over me because my memories will just give you pain and I don't want to be the reason . "

Tyler: " You know that you are the reason . "

Mindy: " I know . "

Tyler: " After every thing you did , at least I deserve the truth . "

Mindy: " I have told you the truth like a zillion times . "

Tyler: " I don't want to hear something you made up . "

Mindy: " What do you mean ? "

Tyler: " I know it's my child . "

Tyler was devastated by the betrayal .

To be betrayed, the person must first experience trust in the betrayer...

when they do hurt us , we then have the awareness that this other person has the capacity to hurt us .

Betrayal is probably the most devastating loss a person can experience . Tyler was going through this betrayal because he blindly trusted Mindy . He had put all his faith in her .

It is fairly impossible for you to be betrayed if you did not trust the individual in the first place .

The reason that betrayal is the most devastating kind loss is because most often it is a loss that didn't have to occur . It only occurs because of someone's deliberately hurtful behavior , or their carelessness , or their own personal weakness . Unlike a loss such as death or illness , there is usually some sort of choice involved . . . . . . . . .

Tyler lost Mindy but he was all the way more devastated by the loss of illusion .

It may sound confusing but sometimes loss can be the loss of an illusion .

Frequently, we develop in our minds the way we think things " should " be . However, reality doesn't always correspond with the demands that we put on life , ourselves , and others .

All this while Tyler was under the ' illusion ' , that Mindy was in love with her but when he encountered reality his heart broke into a thousand pieces . . . . . .

Most often , when people have been betrayed , they have overwhelming emotions which are so intense that they are unable to make any sense out of them .

Tyler knew that he will never be able to trust anyone ever again . The greater the trust that you had put in the other person and the greater the impact their betrayal has on you , then the greater the distress you will feel . . . . . .

He lost his trust .

Trust is fragile and can be lost instantly or there is a hysterisis whereby a long-earned trust may be eroded and then suddenly lost .

Tyler was all convinced that he will never be able to love anyone ever again .

As the saying goes each betrayal begins with a trust .

Tyler: " You can't hide it . "

Mindy: " It is not your child . "

Tyler: " Is it ? So who is the father of this child . . . I am sorry who was the father of your child . Because you . . . . . "

Mindy: " killed this child . I know what you ae going to say . "

Tyler: " So tell me who is the father of your child . "

Mindy: " You know the answer the guy I left you for . "

Mindy: " Of course he does have . "
