 She stood up and then she accidently stepped on something . She moved her leg . It was her car keys . She went and picked Ella and then walked downstairs .

She could hear people talking and laughing in Ava's room . She was familiar with one voice . The rough voice that could make anyone's ears bleed was Ava's without any doubt but who was the other ?

Who else was in her room ? She slowly walked towards towards it . The sound was of some man maybe in his late 30s almost the same age as Ava . 

" Oh George slow down ! " She heard Ava's voice . This meant that the man was George . What was happening in there ? She tried to put her ears on the door and listen what was going on inside ? She could hear Ava moan which made her very uneasy . She took a deep breath and pushed the door . 

Holy God Hell ! Ava was sitting on this man's lap . Emily covered Ella's eyes . Her top was barely on her body and her hands were wrapped around his head . They both were literally seeing each other's faces . What the hell did she see ? Emily wished that she was blind at then she wouldn't have seen this nightmare . 

George saw Emily and they both got cautious  " Oh Emily ! what are you doing here ? " Ava said putting on her clothes . Emily turned to her left " I am so sorry , I had no idea what was going on in here . I . . . . I will wait outside . "

Emily ran downstairs and sat in the hall . It has not even been a week since her father died and Ava was in the arms of some other man apparently some guy George . Wasn't it disrespectful to her father . How could she do this ? Well she clearly didn't had any feelings for Kevin but at least she could have waited for a month or at least a week for God sakes if not for love then may be out of respect .

Emily was troubled by what she just saw . She was sitting with her hand hung down , then she heard footsteps approaching towards her . She laid the baby and put a cushion on her side so that she don't falls . She then went and stood face to face with Ava and her new lover .

" Emily ! " Ava said , it didn't looked like she regretted what happened or she was ashamed of it but at least she was not on this man so it was fine . 

" Yes step mom do you think that there is something that you want to tell me . "

Ava checked her hair to make sure that they were proper " Well I want to introduce you to a friend of mine . I don't think you have met him before . "

" You friend " Emily crossed her hands and she asked her in a sharp tone " What do you mean when you say a friend . Because I have a totally different definition of a friend and I am sure both of ours will contradict each others . "

Ava was no less than Emily , she wasn't going to back off " Check your tone while talking to me young lady . "

" How could you still talk to me like this after everything that you did ? "

" I don't think that I am obligated to answer you . He was here to console me . "

" May be he consoled you in many more ways . "

Anyways this is George . He was your dad's doctor and George this is . . . . . . . "

" Emily . " He said , checking her out from top to bottom " I must say Emily that you don't resemble your dad a lot . you are very pretty . "

Ava snugged " You say . "

Emily was very furious " I am talking to Ava right now so you better back off George . Ava how could you do this to my dad . It hasn't been a week since he passed away . Don't you have any respect for him . "

" Oh Emily don't act like we are different people . "

" What do you mean ? " Emily was confused .

" At least I know who I was with unlike you . " 

Ava hit Emily on her nerve . After that words got stuck in her throat . She heart was flooding with different emotions . She was not able to stand there even for a second . " Oh sure you do " She whispered to herself . She carried Ava and then left the house .

Steven knocked the door " Clara . " He called out to her but she didn't responded . " Clara I know you are in and you can listen to me so please open the door I want to talk to you . Just give me a chance to explain myself . And also I won't leave until I make sue that you are fine . "

" Steven just go away . " Clara shouted from inside .

" No Clara I want to see you . " He keeps his head on the door and knocks lightly with his hand " Please Clara open this door . I request you . "

Clara opened the door " What do you want Steven ? "

He tries to hug her but she pushes him back . " Steven stay away from me . Now we don't belong to each other . "

Steven was not able to control his tears any longer " Please don't say this Clara . " He hold her arms and pulls her closer " You belong to me and I belong to you . "

" No Steven I don't think this . "

He slides his hands from her arms to her face and rests his forehead on hers " How could you do this to me Clara ?. . . . How could you call off the wedding ? You know how much you mean to me . . . . . You know how much I need you . . . . You know that I won't be able to live without you . Then how could you ? "

" Steven you know what was the thing that I loved about you . "

" What ? "

" Every time I looked in to your eyes I saw love but lately I have noticed that you see me as a liability . "

" Clara it is nothing like that . I know you think that my priority is Emily when it is nothing like that . "

" If I think that was then I am sure that you must have given me a reason , actually not a reason . . . . reasons . Every time when it comes down to me and Emily you choose her and you leave me . We have fought more in the past months that we have ever fought and you know what the reason is . "

" Clara what can I say to make you believe that it is nothing like you think . Every time I fall victim to the situation . Please forgive me and come back with me . "

" Steven just go " She pushes back his hands .

" Clara ! "

" Just go . "

Mindy was frustrated . Every time she felt like the world was crushing her or she felt lost she used to find comfort in the books . When your world seems to end then it is better to see the world through other's perspectives . She went to the library to lend some books .

Lisa was done shopping for grocery . Tyler asks her " Ok mam , one task is done . What comes next in your list ? "

" You know my interview is pending so I want to be well prepared . "

" Yes and what does that means . "

" I have to buy some books you know to improve my vocab and all . So is there a library near by ? "

" Yes there is one down the lane . "

" How far ? "

" Not much . "

Tyler drove to the library . And guess what ! it was the same library Lily was in . Isn't it strange that you keep crossing paths with people that you want to avoid ? . . . . . .

Tyler parked outside the library . 

" Tyler you go in , I have a call to make . I will catch up with you . "

" Fine . "

Mindy was sitting by the window and reading some book . Actually she was done with this book she wanted to get another one . Tyler walked towards the library . He was surprised to see Mindy inside . He rubbed his eyes and looked again she was not there so he thought that may be he was thinking about her in his sub-conscious .

Will the two cross paths today ?
