Grandma: " No not exactly . "

Tyler: " So tell me how do they differ ? "

Grandma: " A soulmate is someone we are compatible with or someone we want to end up with one day because of a number of qualities they have. Overall, a soulmate is someone who you believe has certain traits and attributes that you think can make them a perfect match for you. Most of the time, people are proven wrong because they often don’t really know the person completely who they like.

Your soulmate makes you feel entirely whole, healed and intact, like no piece is missing from the puzzle. A life partner, on the other hand, can be a great supporter and long-time companion, but is limited in his or her capacity to enrich your spirit. A soulmate is someone who has locks that fit our keys, and keys to fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are.

Ah, soulmates. The epitome of love and partnership. In our fast-paced chaotic world, which boasts all sorts of different people, we find ourselves skimming through more relationships than we'd like in order to find that one person who can truly open our locks. Tyler: " Maybe Mindy is my soulmate because we didn't end up together and I really thought she was the one . . . . . . . . But no , even in the story you told the two of them loved each other . "

Grandma: " Hmm . . . . . . "

Tyler: " How will I know when I will find your soulmate . "

Grandma: " Describing how a soulmate makes you feel is difficult. It's a tenacious, profound and lingering emotion which no words can encompass.

Tyler: " What happened then . "

Grandma: " I told you before that not all soulmates end up together . . . . . . . . . . . It was our first anniversary . We planned to meet at the restaurant we first met . I was waiting there wearing a cute blue dress he gave me . Actually it was his first gift to me . I was waiting for him outside the restaurant . My eyes were searching for him . And then . . . . . . . . and then I saw him . He looked so handsome . He was right across the street and was waving to me . I waved him back . He was coming closer but . . . . . . . . . "

Tyler: " But ? "

Grandma: " But a car hit him . And his chapter ended . "

Tyler: " Oh god I am so sorry . "

Tyler's grandma wipes her moist eyes .

Grandma: " Oh it feels like yesterday . "

Tyler: " Does grandpa knew about him . "

Grandma: " Indeed he did . When I married him I told him that I will love him but a corner in my heart will never belong to him . "

Tyler: " Tell me more about soulmates . "

Grandma: " Well , Ever met two people who finish each other's sentences? Some people call that spending too much time together, but I call it a soulmate connection.
