It was a pleasant day after the stormy night . The new risen sun shone brightly in the sky . Emily stood on the window feeling the cold breeze against her face . She was happy and she didn't knew why . Ella was cooing in her crib . Early this morning Emily's maternal grandparents came to her house to stay with her for a while . The kids were running in the garden . Emily held Ella in her arms and was watching them play . She was happy after a long while . Her grandma was preparing breakfast in the kitchen . Emily thought that maybe she should go and help her . " Emily " , her grandpa called her as she moved through the hall . He was sitting on the sofa and enjoying a cup of coffee . He asked Emily to join him . Emily went and sat beside him . He poured her some warm coffee .

" So Emily . " He asked her " How are you dealing with everything ? "

Emily sighs " I don't know , sometimes everything seems to be a lot to deal with . " She smiles to hide her pain " But some how I manage to pull myself together . I never let myself break down and now I have my daughter . She is my strength . She is the reason I never give up . "

Emily's grandma came there bearing a tray . Emily helped her with it . She made French toast and fruit salad . She embraced Emily . Emily enjoyed the breakfast . Emily's grandma asked her to listen to her grandpa first . He cleared his throat " Emily we both think that you should come with us . "

" You also know that Ava hate you . She left you on the road to die . We called Ava and your father as soon as we found out . But Ava never let us talk to your dad . I never liked your dad , I even warned Erica that she should not marry him but she was blinded by his love . And you see how he treated you and your mother . "

Emily stood against her grandpa " How can you say this ? Dad always loved me . "

" Was he because all I know is that he married this woman Ava just after a month Erica died like he was just waiting to get the opportunity . And what he did to you ? He left you on the road all alone with your infant when you were not even in the condition to stand . "

Emily was in tears . She was trying to hold them back but those tears were her emotions that her heart was not able to hold anymore . She wished for her grandpa to stop now .

Her grandpa lit a cigar . Her grandma Athena wiped Emily's tears " I know your grandpa's words can hurt you but child we only want the best for you . "

" So come with us . You will feel more home there . And your grandpa and I will help you take care of Ella . You can complete your college . Won't you like that . "

Emily didn't knew what to say . She didn't wanted to sound rude to her grandparents but she also knew that Ava was hiding something . Something was fishy here . How can she just go without finding the truth ? She wanted to know the truth no matter how bitter it was . She felt like in his last days his father wanted to talk to her . And also she had so many memories from this place . She can't just kick them away

" What ? " Rachel came running on the window . Steven was standing outside Clara main door leaning on his car .

" Oh dear God , how long has he been here and why didn't he call you ? "

" He has been here for a while . Last night I was not sleepy , you and Mindy were down so I thought that may be I will go for a walk . I went to the park nearby and there he was , sitting on a bench . He wanted to talk to me , I told him that I was not ready and I also said that I don't want him to call me or text me . I will call him when I will be ready . "

" He is so in love with me that he can't start his day without seeing me or talking to me . "

Clara went to her balcony . Steven got very happy to see her , he waved to her but Clara pretended like she didn't see him and moved back in .
