Lunch went by a bit more quiet than usual, only the children of the visiting families talking, laughing, and cutting up. Everyone else around me was very quiet, only greeting me at the beginning. I sat by Nefirtary and her mate Quan while Randolph was a few seats down by his parents. It seemed as though everyone was too nervous to say anything around me. Was I some kind of bomb that was ready to blow at any given moment? Was that how they saw me? Nef had enough of the silence towards the end and looked at me finally. "How is your family doing?"
