I was putting it off for a week now and I knew that I couldn't wait any longer. That's right, I haven't told Katherine's family that she was kidnapped in the week that she had been missing. And seeing as she called them every week to update them on how she was doing here at her new home, having her not call would cause her family to come up and try skinning me I'm sure. Though hearing about the news of their daughter being kidnapped I knew her father would reach through the speaker to try killing me all the same.
