chapter two

274 Words
Once the name left my lips, I knew it was her as the doll slowly turned its head. I looked at the page it had held open for me. "This is the spell, thank you," I say, finally having my voice come back a little. While reading through the page, I realize how much strength and Magix will go into this whole thing. (time skip) I pace around the room, looking at the doll, who's now lying on the floor. I sigh before sitting down next to it, slowly reading the spell word for word, hoping and praying it will bring back the little girl I knew ten years ago. Once I finish off the spell, nothing happens, and my exaution is finally getting to me. I set the book down and head to bed. Although I fall asleep almost instantly I have a dream and a feeling like things aren't done.In the dream was Emily happily playing in the grass outside as I sat in the grass my fingers playing with the grass. The next morning, I wake up and see that the doll is gone, and so is the book, causing me to start searching for the whole house. I find nothing. Out of frustration, I grind my teeth, clenching my fists before I hear a small voice. "Why so angry?" the small voice asks as I turn around. "emily," I say in disbelief before walking over to her and placing my hand on her shoulder before pulling her into a hug. I hold her as if I let go, she will disappear again.
