CHAPTER FIVE
He instantly felt a stinging feeling and a warm feeling of fluid flowing down his body. Sounds of gunshots from the yard saw him staggering bent, heading back. He looked up and saw the drone free-falling directly onto him, he rolled ahead resting on his back, and quickly moved his head as a reflex as the drone aimed his forehead. He groaned in pain, touching his shoulder. He felt warm blood and looked up and saw a long protruding dagger that was partly covered with blood. He realized that he had been stabbed and was bleeding. Again, free-falling but faster, the drone dropped. He rolled as it impacted the ground with the blade, all going in the ground. He got up and ran as bullets flew from the other direction. The propeller engine’s sound startled him as the engine started. H
