CHAPTER ONE Continued from Evelina God’s Dilemma Solved. Wilson stared at her. “What?” She asked. “She said the same about you too. She reckons you were spared a countless time. So that you appreciate him when he comes knocking,” he stared at her. Nervously, she paced. “Just a coincidence? In all cases? I fought to be where I am. Mark died in my hands. Most of the time they cheated. Stole their victory. Sometimes changed rules and ambushed us. It was horrible.” She started crying. Wilson hugged her. Lydia left, Wilson made a pass at her and kissed her cheek. Then again. “Wilson, no!” “Why?” “You are scared or what?” “I am scared too.” “You can convince everyone else. It’s simple. Just spend time with me.” “I can’t. I don’t need to prove anything.” “It seems you are saving yourself for the devil. Are you?” She instantly punched him hard. He staggered and touched his gun. “Don’t ever say something like that again about me. You are dismissed. “You are not my boss!” “When David and Bogdan are not there, I take over,” Carolina instantly pulled out the gun. “Want to test me?” “No boss. But you have personal vanadate with my colleague and him in that state he is vulnerable. I know that complications can happen and honestly, I have seen enough. I will sit with him if you don’t mind?” “Okay. Stay with your friend.” Carolina walked out. “We have brought you a bulletin. We have world-leading experts who gives us an overview of what they think about what is going to happen to all of us. We ask. Is mankind doomed? Is evil going to take over? I start with you Mr. Sloansky.” “Good morning, everyone. Unless mankind masters what it means to think like God, he is doomed. The world will belong to the kingdom of darkness.” “And what is that?” “As Mr. David pointed out, mankind must solve God’s dilemma, but as we have seen that so remote because mankind needs assistance. That without part of God’s thinking, he will never understand God’s plan.” “So, are you saying that time is running out?” “Correct. The kingdom of darkness is inevitable and imminent. Unless we solve God’s dilemma, we are all going to be obliterated!” “Can you explain why everyone is saying this will lead to World War Three or the Holy War? “Gaining a majority of eighteen hours of the day or seats will put them in a position to challenge everyone. To avoid any uprising, they will go for a total wipeout of those who stand for good. Any left will restart the process back to where it is now. Mind you, it is believed that at the beginning of time there was the kingdom of darkness. The people revolted, resulting in a fifty-fifty share. With twelve hours and seats for the darkness and the same for the light, just the way, it is today. Therefore, this time they will have to squash any opposition. A total obliteration can only guarantee that. If they can find a seal faster, they can also void any remaining seats, but that’s highly unlikely. So those for the light will cling to the few seats remaining. Only with the hope that they will overturn the misfortune somehow. That triggers the war because the kingdom of darkness will use maximum force and somehow the kingdom of light will enroll and get civilians to support them, hence the term world war. Miles away. David entered the lab and looked at Triga. “Progress?” Triga retrieved a screen. “System is ready, everyone on earth included, hopefully, it won’t crash and never tested it with such high volumes.” David watched as Triga tested it. “Perfect that just might prove to be the main key in all this.” Triga looked haunted. “What is it like? To fight the devil’s Eye assassins.” “David stared at him. You will see.” “What do you mean by that? I am a tech gear. Never held a gun before.” David opened the door and stopped. “I wanted Andrew to train you. I will send Bogdan instead.” “Wilson is there as well.” “I want someone with a never die attitude. You can gain a lot faster and Andrew could have been your answer if he wasn’t injured. He was the best for you, Aggressive and tactically an attacking machine. To survive this stage, we must aggressively attack and self-defend as well.” David stepped outside. “David,” He peeped back in. “Are you not scared that Carolina could be the devil’s wife?” “Thought about it. She is a fighter, you know. Sacred. But I doubt it.” “Let’s be prepared. They might cheat on us. Steal their victory as before. We have the new assassins to defend us. Their targets will be the new recipients and all the leaders are included. Be on the alert, always. I know it’s going to be hard. But saving everyone is a difficult task as it is. They will use any tricks and means possible to have an early victory. But we still have a chance without Stacey it will go all the way to the last stages.” “So, if Stacey was still alive, then what?” David shrugged. “With Andrew out of the play,” he paused. “I guess I have to find someone specific for Stacey just in case she is still alive.” “He looked at all of them. It’s okay to be afraid. Attack is the best form of defense.” The live stream showed everyone, the police, and soldiers getting ready as well. “Will they take part as well?” David sighed. “With Marson as the main man, anything is possible. Marson would want an early victory or even steal the victory. So, he might be obliged to use them.” “Does that mean our end? How can we fight them all? The Devil’s Eye assassins, the police, the soldiers, and the secret services and even the doctors with their hacking stuff?” “Just believe that we can do it. Sometimes that is all it takes. It is that faith that keeps telling you to fight to the end which is the answer. It’s a mounting task, but we have come a long way now. We must fight as if this is the last and only phase. Protect all their targets with your life.” A chain of black, dark green, camouflaged ones and red SUVs left a huge compound and headed towards the city. Brad wore his sunglasses and stared at everyone without a word. “They are coming,” radioed Wilson. “Take your positions. Keep them out.” Roars of cars, SUVs revving engines outside startled David. “It’s not over until the Fatladies sing! You have a greater responsibility to keep them at bay. Over!” The windows started braking as bullets riddle in. “Devil’s Eye!” Shouted and chanted the men as they prepared to get in. Flipping and somersaulting. David took binoculars and looked at them. His heart started pounding hard. They were so many and most with a lot of energy moving relentlessly, waiting to start the fight. “The gates are secure,” radioed Wilson. “I don’t think so,” shouted David. “If they start flipping on top of each other like frogs, shoot the bottom and the upper layer constantly.” Instantly, the men flipped to the left. Flipped on one another going up forming a ladder then fell forward. The top rolled in front and became the bottom until they were so close that the top rolled in. “Damn it!” Shouted Wilson. “The minute we aimed to shoot; they would have changed positions. I sent the assassins to spray the bullets!” Instantly those who had rolled in sprinted straight to the mansion. Flipping on the way, ducking bullets. Another ladder formed to the right. But then they flipped to the left now both ladders joining to form a giant circle then they rolled forward. Then changed back to the ladder with the top jumping in and sprinting to the mansion. David radioed those in the bunker. “Ambush them from outside,” he roared. The first Devil’s Eyes group that went in all were shot dead. “Devil’s Eye!” They all shouted unafraid getting out of the SUV’s forming the next group in. The next group just sprinted and climbed the huge gates all to the top then slid down the gates landing in and rolling to the sides escaping bullets. Carolina and Bogdan kneeled near David. “The Fatladies might not be useful outside today.” “We still need the lookouts.” He cursed. “They are coming in way too fast.” A gun battle began outside. “I want reinforcements on all the new recipients of the digital currencies, especially the leaders. Tony, Lydia, and everyone. “Bogdan coordinate the reinforcements!” “I think we will stay with you,” said Carolina. David’s heart started pounding. He became apprehensive. “I will be alright.” “I think all this thing about the devil needing a wife is a decoy so that we hide the best fighters instead of shielding them to fight. The main target could be you.” “Colony or Society collapse strategy. Shoot the leader first and use extreme terror to traumatize the group so that they all obey and corporate,” added Bogdan. David opened the gun cabinet. “In that case let’s not sit in here let us go and attack.” Stealthily, they went to the halls at the periphery of the mansion. “Devil’s Eyes!” Another group started chanting outside. “Devil’s Eyes!” These men kneeled outside. Closed their eyes, listened, and fired. They kept rolling outside and firing shots. All the time they did this, another group would jump in. A new group emerged; the distractors. “Increase reinforcements,” Wilson whispered to David. “Go. Go. Go!” Shouted David to the assassins on standby. Bullets broke glass behind them. David and the others ducked. They started firing shots. “We are under heavy attack. Southside three o’clock. Send back up,” Carolina radioed the assassins in the bunker. They came out through the outside garden, secret doors, and ambush them. One of them suddenly let out a loud sudden scream of pain before he fell. “Position seven compromised!” “I have been hit.” “Reinforcement position seven, eight, to the bunker. Assassins! Standby in the bunker. Advance to door seven.” Stealthily, gunshot sounds, and gun battle sounds rocketed in the air. “Position seven is secure, but we lost men. Do you read? Over.” “Loud and clear.” Instantly a man somersaulted through the window, shattering it with bullets before spinning in. Flipping in the air so fast that David, Bogdan, and Carolina missed him. Flipping to four places in seconds before jumping high and firing consecutive shots. The trio ducked. “Devil’s Eyes!” Chanted the men. They spanned towards David. Somersaulting and throwing a dagger the split-second Carolina pushed him out of the path of the dagger. Instantly firing a shot. David rolled to the side and ran to the next hall in the mansion. Carolina and Bogdan started firing shots before they rolled. Another one spinning in. Then another. Through the secret door, they went downstairs into the bunker. A group of assassins stealthily went onto the ground floor from the bunker to the sides. A gun battle went on for some time before Victor radioed that the side was reinforced. “I want the middle group to advance outside. Push them out. Another group from the bunker to ambush from outside. The Fatladies now is your chance. The middle group. Now!” They started running from the middle rooms and halls to the periphery of the mansions. There were so many that initially, the Devil’s Eyes panicked and briefly retreated. The chanting settled them that they stood their ground. “Fight furiously. Taking the same positions,” whispered Wilson. “The bunker group stop close in half advance to the gates. The Fatladies your chance to shine. Now!” Shouted David. Another fierce battle began. The assassins from the bunker firing at the fences of the mansion. The Fatladies knocking out the critical threats as snipers. The middle group closing in on these inside the mansion with some assassins from the bunker ambushing them. As the bunker assassins covered enough ground now, the sprinklers started working. “Stop! Target those at the gates. Those still inside the mansion should be your priority as well.” The sprinkler’s speed and trajectory increased. One of the devil’s eye’s assassins shouted. “What’s that?” One stretched his hand and smelled the fluid. “Water!” “Shall we retreat? Might try to burn us alive!” “The boss said advance!” “Devil’s Eyes!” They started chanting fiercely and in a frenzied manner before they surrounded the gates. One instantly jumped into the SUV and reversed clear the gate, all lined up on the sides, leaving a few to turn as if to retreat and go away.
