Roommates agreement

Ashley pov: As I trudged back to my dorm, I couldn't shake off the frustration that lingered within me. My meeting with Principal Johnson had been a disaster, and I was still trying to wrap my head around the fact that I was stuck with Henry, the notorious bad boy of our school. I pushed open the door to my room, and was immediately greeted by Henry's lazy grin. He was lounging on his bed, his eyes fixed on his phone. "Hey," he said, not even bothering to look up. I ignored him and dropped my bag on the floor. "We need to talk," I said, trying to keep my voice even. But Henry didn't respond. He just kept scrolling through his phone, his expression unreadable. I felt a surge of irritation. "Henry, seriously?" I said, trying to get his attention. Finally, he looked up, a smirk spreading across his face. "What's up, roomie?" he asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm. I took a deep breath and tried to compose myself. "We need to set some ground rules," I said, trying to sound firm. "I don't want any of your friends coming over and trashing the room. And I don't want you playing your music too loud." Henry raised an eyebrow. "You're awfully bossy for a timid little thing," he said, his voice teasing. I felt a flush rise to my cheeks, but I tried to keep my cool. "I just want to live in peace," I said, trying to sound reasonable. Henry snorted. "Peace? You're not going to get any peace with me around." I glared at him. "Henry, just agree to the rules, please." Henry shrugged. "Fine, but don't expect me to follow them." I sighed, feeling a sense of frustration. "Whatever, just don't make me regret having you here." Henry grinned. "Too late for that, roomie." I rolled my eyes and turned to leave, but Henry stopped me. "What?" I asked, turning back to him. Henry's grin grew wider. "Welcome to hell." I felt a shiver run down my spine as I realized that living with Henry was going to be a lot harder than I thought. Henry's POV: I waited for my new roommate, the sick girl, to arrive. Matthew and Ryan had left me, so I kept myself busy scrolling through Twitter. She finally showed up, and I greeted her without looking up. "Hey," I said, my tone neutral. She ignored me and said, "We need to talk." I continued to ignore her until she called out to me again. I looked up, smirking. "What's up, roomie?" She began to lay down some ground rules, which I had no intention of following. I told her the plain truth: she shouldn't expect me to follow the rules. "Whatever, just don't make me regret having you as my roommate," she said. I laughed inwardly. "Too late, roomie," I said, but she didn't take it seriously. As she turned to leave, I stopped her. "Ashley," I called out. She turned around, and I grinned. "Welcome to hell." I could feel her fear, and it was exhilarating. Good, I thought. She'll be leaving this dorm in no time. I watched as she climbed into bed and faced the wall, trying to ignore me. But we both knew that was impossible. I stood up, locked the door, and pocketed the key. She looked at me, alarmed. "What are you doing?" she asked. I smirked. "Just making sure you don't escape." Her face paled. "Escape from what?" I grinned. "My punishment." “ what punishment?“ She asked “ i asked you to prepare dinner and you refused, you know I can kill you and no one will know “ I said smirking. “ I'm sorry, I will go so it right away “ she stood up and hurried to the kitchen. Ashley's POV: When I got to the kitchen, I let out a sigh of relief. "That guy is a monster," I muttered to myself. “ i heard that…” he said from the room and I couldn't help but rolled my eyes. “ curse him “ I said but this time in my mind. I began to make waffles and hot tea, trying to calm my nerves. As I carried the tray back to the room, I saw Henry lying on my bed. What the...? I thought. Why is he on my bed? "Henry, please get off my bed," I said, trying to keep my cool. He stared at me, his face cold and unyielding. I swallowed hard, feeling a shiver run down my spine. He finally stood up and took a chair, sitting down across from me as we ate in silence. I could feel his eyes on me the entire time, making my skin crawl. As the night drew to a close, I realized I had to face my fate: sharing a room with Henry. I walked into the room, trying to ignore his presence as he sat on his phone. "Goodnight," I said curtly, trying to keep my distance. Henry looked up at me, a smirk on his face. "Goodnight, roomie." I felt a shiver run down my spine as I turned off the light and climbed into bed. I tried to ignore Henry's presence, but it was impossible. I could feel his eyes on me, even in the dark. As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't shake the feeling that this year was going to be a challenge. Little did I know, it was only the beginning. Henry's POV: As I watched Ashley climb into bed, I couldn't help but smirk. Principal Johnson was a genius. Ashley was different from the other girls I'd met. She was feisty and determined. I hoped this year would be fun. I drifted off to sleep, my mind wandering back to last year. I frowned, remembering the pain and the struggle. But as I looked over at Ashley, I felt a spark of excitement. This year was going to be interesting.
