_The £400 hair, the "sick cousin", and the night Julie finally lost it_

*SCENE 1: ONE MONTH LATER - THE SHIFT*

"The Shine" was perfect.

Now it’s month 2. And Julie’s mask starts slipping.

*Romeo* is still in love. Still paying. Still calling her "baby."

*Julie* is bored. The free Nando’s and Uber rides are normal now.

She needs to test if Romeo will go deeper.

This is where gold diggers do *"The Tests."*

*THE 5 TESTS JULIE RAN ON ROMEO*

*TEST 1: THE SMALL MONEY TEST*

Julie: "Babe can you send £20 for Uber? My card’s acting up"

Romeo: _sends £50_ "Keep the change"

Julie: _thinks_ "Okay he pays fast. Level up."

*2 days later:*

Julie: "My phone bill is £80. Can you help? I’ll pay you back"

Romeo: _sends it_

Julie: _never mentions "paying back" again_

11:47pm. Tuesday.

Julie: "BABE EMERGENCY!! My cousin is in hospital. I need £400 for deposit or they won’t treat her 😭"

Romeo: _panicking_ "Are you okay??"

Julie: "I’m stressed. I don’t know what to do."

Slowly Romeo stops going out.

Now it’s just him, Julie, and her requests.

No one to tell him "Bro this is weird."

Julie: "My friend Sarah’s boyfriend bought her a Canada Goose jacket."

Julie: "Sarah’s man takes her to Dubai every year."

Julie: _sighs_ "Must be nice..."

*Translation:* You’re not dating her. You’re competing with her group chat.

*TEST 5: THE ANGER TEST*

This is the big one.

Romeo finally says NO.

It was a Saturday. Romeo’s birthday.

He planned dinner at Sketch. £200 for two.

Julie shows up 1 hour late.

No apology. Just: "Babe can we leave? My friend needs me to send £150 for her birthday gift."

Romeo: "Today is MY birthday Julie."

Julie: _rolls eyes_ "You’re so selfish. I do so much for you."

Julie: _stands up and walks out_
