Savanah POV
So, I watched TV while I waited for Dahlia to return and true to her word she returned 30 minutes later. “Okay Vannah, so I had to meet with the town counsel to let them know you’re here also to inform them more werewolves will be arriving in the next few days.” I was about to ask why she would do that when she said, “this town may be neutral territory, but everyone here has supernatural lineage in one way or another.” I nodded and asked, “so are you going to tell me how old you are and what you are now.” She smiled and said, “yes I’m 175 years old, and I’m a vampire/werewolf hybrid. Get some sleep Vannah, tomorrow is going to be a long day. You get to meet some of the other supernaturals and train with them to keep your strength and stamina up. Plus, you get to run with me and see if you can keep up.” I nodded and got up and headed over to the bed and laid down, but before I could get to sleep I had a conversation with my wolf, “Bella, do you think it was right for us to accept the rejection.” “Yes, it was for the best and even though it did hurt us a little. His wolf hurt more, but because no one other than Emmett knows we have already shifted, we are safe here. We can trust Dahlia. Plus, we won’t be unhappy anymore.” I just nodded and closed my eyes to get some sleep.
Dahlia woke me up at 5:30 saying we needed to get to the restaurant and get coffee and get ready for training. I asked her if I could take a quick shower since I hadn’t been allowed to properly shower in the Stormbreaker pack. She said I had 15 minutes and that she had set out a pair of workout clothes in the sitting area for me. I showered and quickly dressed, and we headed to the restaurant. Dahlia looked so grumpy till she had that first sip of coffee, and she said, “I can’t believe I let myself run out of coffee. I’ll have to stock back up later, but first training, come on, let me show you where you can let your wolf out and not worry about hunters.” We headed towards the woods and after a few minutes I could smell different creatures and feel some of their auras. We stopped at what looked like a meadow surrounded by huge tall trees.
While I was in aww looking around, I felt someone come close and my reaction was to flip them when they reached to touch me. Dahlia started laughing and said, “Diego, I told you not to try it. She might be young, but she’s still strong, and her senses are superb.” I held my hand out to help who, I assume, is Diego, and he stood and said, “I had to see for myself, you know that, Dahlia.” Dahlia said, “you’re an i***t brother but so be it. Vannah, come you’ll train with me today in hand-to-hand combat and run in human form today.” We sparred for about 30 minutes and ran what felt like 3 miles at a slow pace, but we only stopped because my stomach growled. Dahlia and the others laughed, and she said, “okay everyone, head to the restaurant. Breakfast is on the house.”
Back in the restaurant, we ate breakfast and, one at a time, everyone introduced themselves to me. Diego, Dahlia’s twin brother, Lorenzo, and Kenzi they are vampire/werewolf hybrids. Then there’s Star and Santino. They are witch/vampire hybrids or, in Santino’s case, he's a warlock/vampire hybrid. Then there was Hela, Balder, Laufey, and Frigga. They are Elf/werewolf hybrids. Then it was Dimitri, Gwyneth, Gia, and Tristan werebears. Finally, Davina and Rafael werecats. They said there were other shifters and other supernaturals they just didn’t attend this morning’s workout session. They might attend the workout session that is held in the afternoon.
Tristan walked over and asked, “would you mind if we could do hand-to-hand combat later this afternoon during training. I want to see if you can take me down as easily as you did Dahlia earlier.” I said, “I don’t see why not, besides I don’t know anyone other than you guys.” So, for a few hours, I watched TV and helped at the hotel doing laundry and cleaning the front area. When it was time for afternoon workout, Dahlia accompanied me again, and I trained with Tristan this time around and put him on his ass more than once. After I did, I ran about 4 miles around the meadow then headed back to the restaurant to eat dinner and maybe get introduced to the others that were at the afternoon training session.
Right after I walked into the restaurant, I felt 4 new werewolves near one whose scent I knew very well, and I turned and saw Emmett enter with Julia, Luke and Anna. I hugged them all and thanked Emmett. “You don’t have to thank me. But why do you smell like you’ve been fighting a werebear,” he asked me. I smirked and said, “I was, but he’s cool,” while I looked over my shoulder at Tristan who was walking into the restaurant. “Come, you all must be hungry, come on we’re about to eat dinner,” I said as I pulled my friend Julia and her siblings over to a table in the back.
